Showed up 38 minutes after the estimated arrival time...no updates on arrival...so that doesn't earn great ratings. Hard to know how good they are, this turned out to be a simple issue they couldn't fix for me....the problem needs to be addressed by apartment building. But the technician didn't offer any assistance in the way of documenting the problem to help me with the landlord.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Sears Home Warranty and will be looking for another home warranty company. A technician was sent to inspect my air conditioner due to a refrigerant leak. He checked my breaker box, flipped it on and off, and mentioned hearing a noise before saying the refrigerant had escaped from the unit. He never once mentioned what caused the leak, nor did he provide any documentation or explanation suggesting the damage was anything other than normal wear and tear. Shortly after, I received a call from a Cinch rep saying my claim was denied because the technician reported that rock damage caused the leak, making it ineligible for repair. This was completely false and blindsided me. He never communicated this to me directly or showed me any evidence to support that conclusion. I believe this was a deliberate misrepresentation to avoid covering the repair cost. It is dishonest and unprofessional, and a disservice to customers paying for the peace of mind a home warranty is supposed to provide. I was also told I would receive a refund and have yet to hear anything about it. I will not be renewing with Sears Home Warranty and am actively looking for a new company. If you are considering them, please think twice. Based on my experience, they will find any reason to deny your claim and leave you without the repairs you need.

I went through the AI to schedule my appointment, but was no showed by the original tech. Could not get a response from Sears regarding my tech being late as it's all done through AI. There was no option to speak to a customer service representative. Was able to reschedule for the next day. Phillip showed up, on time, ready to work. But the customer service is so bad I would give this zero stars, but the service tech Phillip was pretty good, but even he can't overcome the horrible AI driven customer service.

AI generated customer service is a joke! Can't possibly resolve issues outside critical thinking of a human representative. Corporate management setting this up is self-absorbed and only servicing for the betterment of themselves! Screw the actual customer in need right? Parts ready for delivery delayed due to AI. Technician didn't connect water line to refrigerator and after I checked. Noticed it leaking. Customer service number could do no help! Called technician direct and happened to come back to fix. I could have left with the customer service number and have Sears pay water damage because AI didn't understand or have this need to return in its algorithm or information to draw from. There is no human customer service persons to reach. 100% A I. Not good. This is nothing but customer disservice!!!!! Technician was apologetic and as far as I know now, repair is working. But ............. Nope. 1 day later.....Dryer that was installed on the refrigerator was either bad OR incorrectly installed. But fridge did not cool off over night. Tried to reschedule the service call as a revisit, but once service call is completed, AI deletes the service and no way to like it back up as a misrepair. Scheduled new service to have repair already paid for to be done correctly, but new service technician got it as a new service, not as existing service and his stupid AI generated call wants to charge me again for diagnostic repair (already paid for), a new service call (already paid once for that, and a new dryer part (already paid for that!). Now he's stuck here waiting to get that cleared as being linked to yesterday's visit that was botched. Can't go on to next call until AI clears that. He's been waiting for about an hour now for that to happen. Again! Your AI system is messing with people because it doesn't have the ability within its programming to effectively resolve errors. Will cause me to not use Sears Service in the future. Only way to get results is to take the money away. That's all that management understands. Oh! And number you provided to resolve service is the same AI generated call service without live agents that messed all this up anyway. Totally useless!!!

They took my money and won’t show to finish the repair. I can’t get anyone to call me back and they just keep blaming system outages. I was pressured to pay otherwise they couldn’t order my parts and never showed back up.
