The service tech Alberto was outstanding. Very professional. he did his diagnosis of the problem with our icemaker on a Tuesday, and determined what parts were needed, which we ordered and were delivered on Thursday to our house. When he left on Tuesday, he set an appointment to visit us to install the parts on the Friday. We were his first call and the install was done in short order. this was a 20+ year-old freezer/icemaker. Yes, the repair replacement parts were expensive, but that’s not unusual in this day and time. I’ve bought OEM parts over the last few years for dyi repairsand see these as increasingly getting higher. However, if you look at the price for a new refrigerator freezer combo, this was the right decision. I saw the complaints regarding the AI scheduling issues. I can only comment that the process went very smooth with the initial scheduled visit being kept within the time range, we were kept informed several times confirm confirming any change of time, but all changes were still within the same initial timeframe provided. Personally, I’m not a fan of AI or scheduling, but I did not have any issues whatsoever with my service need. I will call the Sears appliance center. Should we need repairs on any of our other kitchen appliances.
