Why have a phone number that you do not answer , but instead you get a prerecorded message that doesn’t have the info you need. Google maps say your location is in the mall, but I can’t find it and no one else’s knows where it’s at. This is why people resort to using Amazon.
Vince S,
Bad attitude, poor customer service. Original technician, John W. was supposed to come 7/11. Contacted me after 9 hour time window to tell me my home would not be serviced that day. No apology for not making it to the job site, poor communication throughout the day. Poor customer service. It had already been 2 weeks from scheduling the service date. Instead of rescheduling the next day, he rescheduled for 7/16. I didn’t approve the change, but tech John W. did it anyways. I rescheduled online for 7/12 and received confirmation. No technician called or showed up that day. Today, the technician showed up at 2pm, within the 9 hour time frame. He complained that I had other service technicians for other projects parked in my driveway. Very poor and unprofessional attitude. Also, his job was easy because the issue turned out to be a clog, and not a mechanical failure. If he was my employee, I would have terminated him.

He was already late! Didn’t arrive till about 6:30! Came in looked at stove and was asking who hooked it up and how did the dent get in the back! I told him it was a new stove that came that way! Well in the end he did nothing saying we need to get an electrician and the circuit in the box needed to be changed to a 240 instead of the 120 that’s in there! So I asked him how did it work before and he gave an off the wall answer as if I was lying that the stove hadn’t been working! He pack his bag and walked out without saying anything!

This company was sent as a warranty claim through Asurion. The first time they were sent I was not notified. The second time they called me 15 minutes before their window expired (which was an 8-5 window) to let me know they would not be showing up. They rescheduled and finally made it to my house. The repair could not be completed due to a part being unavailable. The tech did not submit the paperwork correctly so my warranty company sent another tech out. This tech refused to even work on my appliance and left. His attitude and demeanor was one of he did not care about customer service or helping with the issue. So four attempts by this company and nothing has been fixed and the proper paperwork has not been submitted. I would not recommend this company.
APRIL W,
I originally was set up between 8am-5pm. I kept watching my appointment and where my technician was on the app. It went to 4:04pm, then to 5:07m, then to 7:07 pm. I finally received a call from the technician, who was extremely friendly and apologetic, who said he still had about an hour and a half worth of work but he could get to our house by 9pm. I told him I would have to reschedule. The only reason I am using Sears for a repair is because it’s a warranty through AHS. This is one of many issues with them. I would not recommend using them unless they are your only option.
colin R,
Sears charged me $249.00 just for the Technician to come to my home and assess the problem. Furthermore, whether I agreed with his diagnosis or not I was given no choice but to pay the fee. Now you’re asking me to rate the Technician’s performance. How absurd!! You (Sears Home Repair) got more than the cost of repair was worth. Sorry, can’t in good conscience rate an overinflated action.
Robert J,
Guy was great but left knowing it was not fixed and now we haven’t heard from Sears to come back and finish job?!?!
