For the past month, we had 3 appointments set up and the technician was a "no show." We were told that 2-10 would waive the technician fee for our inconveniences. Yet, when the technician finally showed on the 4th scheduled date, he would not look a the dishwasher until we paid him. Something in the system is very broken. Appointments are set up, estimated arrival times are given, then no one shows, on multiple dates. Our attempts to fix our dishwasher have proven to be a very frustrating experience, and 1 1/2 months after first contact, we are still without a dishwasher.

After Sears missed 2 appointments, Kylen (who diagnosed my Samsung refrigerator problem) finally showed up and fixed it promptly. The fridge was actually misassembled! But dealing with Sears is neigh onto impossible. There was NO way to reach a live person. I received reminders every day from Sears, but they apparently never look at their appointment list. Kylen was not at fault here. This was done via Choice Home Warranty, and they were powerless to contact Sears. Apologies do not cut it. You must change your fully AI system to allow people to get help!

My repairman was nice and courteous, however, he was unable to repair the appliance due to a parts issue. This is my 8th day without a refridgerator.

The leaking water from my fridge was fixed, however he indicated it was a useless piece to my fridge that he removed and stated it didn’t need to be replaced, but it was the water line to the ice maker and now my ice maker doesn’t work.

Kylen was very nice and I’m sure quite capable, but after 3 visits and almost $1000 not counting $800 for a warranty that doesn’t take effect for a month, we are no further ahead and the problem has not been resolved.

We contacted our warranty company and gave a description of the issue. They assigned it to Sears. I received a text from Sears asking for a model number and description of the problem so that the tech would be prepared with parts and I complied. Then I received a second text with a link. I was then asked for a description of the problem and a picture of the ID plate. I complied. An appointment was scheduled for 2 weeks later with a 9 hour window. At 2:30, I received a text postponing the appointment. It was rescheduled for 6 days later with a 9 hour window. The tech arrived (don't know his name) and seemed annoyed to be there. I was asked what the problem was and I told him. He took a picture of the ID plate. He opened the stove and said they would have to order the part. The appointment was scheduled for Tuesday. At 12:30, I received a text postponing again. It was finally done today. Meanwhile, prior to the appointments, I was sent texts asking to confirm and reminding me of the appointment. Why bother it you can't keep up your end. The days I selected from the options you gave, were the best to accommodate my job. When I selected Friday, because I could leave work early, I received at least 2 texts asking if I would like a Thursday appointment. It appears you have a lot of spare time in your schedule, yet I had to wait until 2:30. When Francis arrived, it took him minutes to do the job.

The work was good the technician was down right rude and unhelpful. We moved the dryer to another room ( about 10 ft from where it goes) so it would be easier to work on. He said since it was not plugged in he couldn't test it. I said then I'll move it back and plug it in. When he said he was done. I expected him to move or help move the dryer back. His response is they don't move equipment. I had to ask 3 more times to get him to stay 10 more minutes so I could move the dryer and plug it in to make sure it works. He made a noise then, said ok but I am going to my truck to make phone calls for other customers. On the bright side he didn't get rude with my special needs son who would not leave him alone.

Shocking cost, but stuck with weighing the total after considering the visit cost. We could have gotten our replacement part for GE gas oven igniter for $94.00 they charged $250 for part and $340 for labor for 15 minutes of work. Looks like the CEO Lampert knew how to run Sears into bankruptcy, buy it, liquidate its assets and then still keep a hand in overcharging customers. Try speaking to a human… it’s all AI. This is in Harriman, TN. Don’t use this company… hire another GE services. The technician was polite but helpless. Also the reviews presented on the website DO NOT reflect the totality of the written reviews.

I five the technician 5 stars. The 1 star is for the appointment hasle. It took 4 appointments with little to no communication on the app other than technician will be here between 8-5, do you want to cancel or reschedule. The technician Francis was great, knowledgeable and got everything fixed rather quickly so I give him 5 stars. Ai will not let you speak to anyone or escalate to a person. It just repeats the same message over and over again. My guess is sears overlooks their technicians and they cannot possibly get done what is on their schedule. Said thing is sears used to be the best appliance repair company out there.
