My technician was knowledgeable polite and efficient. Therefore I gave him five stars. But I do not give Sears five stars. I give Sears one star. My whole Sears experience had nothing to do with the technician on sight. First of all , they have you speak to AI to set up your appointment. They ask you to send photos of your model number of your dishwasher etc and explain your issues which I was happy to do, but I don't believe that they communicate this information to the technicians. They give you a 9 hour window from 8:00 to 5:00 regarding service which is extremely unfriendly for customers. When you go to track your estimated time for service , tracking said 11:56 am . Later tracking adjusted this time to be 2:33 p.m. In reality service arrived at 3:15 pm. Again , I do not believe this is the fault of the technicians on the ground but a failure of proper scheduling and lack of concern for customers by the upper echelon. I received several text messages from Sears over the several days preceding service, asking if I'd like to buy appliance service plans. The answer is no I do not wish to. I also received several texts to remind me that would owe $139 for the service call which of course, I understand one must pay. It would be nice if they spent more time sending you accurate information about when a technician would arrive at your home and less time trying to sell you home appliance maintenance plans. There once was a day when the name of Sears meant quality customer service. Would not recommend.

Paul the technician was very Professional and an excellent Technician. (5 STARS) He has been to my property over the years and consistently performed thorough maintenance on all of the Kitchen and laundry appliances. On the other hand, Sears AI scheduling services suck. Confirmed appointments get canceled and the customer doesn’t get notified. I took 2 days off from work to be on site for these appointments. Twice these appointments got rescheduled without notice to the customer until late in the day. If this continues Don’t waste your money on this service.
