Our service man was wonderful, quick and explained everything. What we didn't like was the markup on a part that was 30ish in price and paid 86 for it .

Technician was good, but on the other hand, on the website it says that there's a $140 diagnostics fee that will be "waived" onto the repair fee if the customer decides to go through with the repair, which sounds like a good deal, so I decided to go through with it. Once the repair technician arrived and we discussed what needs to be done and how much it would be, I mentioned the waived fee and he expressed how awful Sears is for MISLEADING their customers with using the term waived, because in reality that is not true at all, in fact, the diagnostics fee is added onto the repair fee and not taken from like the website insisted.. had I gone through with the repair it would've costed me almost $800 so I decided not to do it and just buy a new washer instead, I had to pay the diagnostic fee of $140 and sent him on his way. I highly do not recommend this company, and if anyone who does decide to use this, can sue this company because how they lie on their website is illegal

The Sears technician said the Kenmore control board was faulty and that he could not get a replacement. Whirlpool makes all these washers and that the 700s series were bad so they are not supporting them anymore. This washer is now trash and I will have to buy a new one. He did not even tell me the part number so I could get a refurbished or after market part. Very poor experience. This washer is very new and used very little.

Absolute BS. Tech Canceled appointment without even checking washing machine saying it was the floor and outlet, and nothing wrong with washer. Have had tech from same company repair dryer before and never said anything wrong with floor or outlet. Been using washer in same location for over 3 years with no issue - tech wouldn’t even run cycle to check. Tried to call customer service and they have replaced their customer service with 100% AI so no ability to ask questions or anything. Sears has lost my business forever in any capacity
