Appt said they would arrive between 8 and 5 on Monday. I waited all day and at 4:30 they canceled. Then they said they would be here by noon Tuesday. Tech arrived at 2pm. Tech was great but I lost more than 1 1/2 days. I will not use GE again. I called and they didn't seem to care.

Do not waste your money on this warranty! The service center gave me the wrong information multiple times and rescheduled my appointment five times, only for no one to show up. Save yourself the frustration and put the money toward a new appliance instead.

So my whole Saturday was wasted because the technician was to appear beteeen 1-5. We waited and then we were the next one and Travis would be here at 2:40. The next update that was received much later after 4 said now it's Tuesday morning between 8-noon!!! This is totally unacceptable business practice.

Once we actually got a repair person to show up, the repair went great, so no issues there. But scheduling was an absolute nightmare. I had two previous appointments where no one showed up, and there was no notification or any type of communication from Sears. I only found out after I had been waiting at home all day and finally called them and waited on hold for another half hour. The only thing they could tell me is that the appointment had been rescheduled to a later date, but they could not give me a reason. I'll be cancelling my service contract with Sears and looking for someone more reliable. UPDATE: So I contacted Sears as they requested in their reply to this post, and it turns out they weren't really interested in doing anything to "make it right". They just wanted to appear that way to people reading these reviews. I've given them more chances than they deserve. Will be canceling my contract immediately.

Impossible to get ahold of a real person on the phone. Tried several times. Technician is over 3 hours late. Edit- technician no call no show.

It took 9 weeks for Sears Appliance Repair to fix my washing machine. Also, it has been 8 weeks now since they first came out to fix our refrigerator, which is still not fixed.
