This is the third call I have had to Sears repair. The first technician Jarrod was excellent and he diagnosed he problem ordered the part and helped me set up the next repair appointment. Total cost was $473 (It would cost me about $600 to replace so I bit the bullet.) The following week Donald did the repair- was efficient and friendly. Washed great, but didn't dry. There are no humans to contact to make an appointment so I had to depend on their AI, Samantha, who glitched things from that point on. There is a 30 day warranty on parts and labor, so I made an appointment for someone to come out again- to fix the drying element- which had worked fine before the repair. No show, day before thanksgiving, no person to help. Rescheduled again, Jarrod again, fixed it in 10 minutes, no charge- needed to be reset. Both technicians were skilled, knowledgeable, terrific- Samantha, the AI, not so much. Super frustrating. While the repair is complete and was done well, I may not use Sears again because of the AI only customer service.

I did not pay anything for the service since it is under the home warranty program, I paid monthly fee each month for $73., but it will cover for free check up of Heating, cooling system for the year. Steven did excellent job for the refrigerator water leaking problem. Thanks Steven.

Mark was the third service person to try to fix our freezer and ice maker. Prior to Mark’s arrival numerous appointments were scheduled then cancelled. Numerous. Mark worked for two hours trying to uncover the reason for our problem. He was not able. I am not dissatisfied with his work. However, I am very disappointed in the work that was done twice by the first repairman, by the charges that were made electronically but not confirmed by email with a receipt, by the numerous cancellations, and by the inability to speak with a person. Only AI Samantha and AI Richard communicated with me. I am dissatisfied with Sears Home Services, not our most recent repairman.
