dishwasher repair
Daniel was very nice and professional. However, it seems that he does not have experience with this dishwasher. Turns out the hose was clogged with food particles. He ordered us a new valve (needed?) and came back and still couldn't fix it, so had us order a pump. Third trip he decided we didn't need the pump, he just needed to clear the clogged pipe. Seems to me he could have done this the first time and saved us several hundred dollars and two extra trips.

The technicians work appears to be excellent. However, the scheduling of the appointment was terrible! On two separate times the technician did not show. The cost of the service was also outrageous. Do you really think I'm gonna call you guys again?

We recently moved into a new home in Oregon, and after running the dishwasher for the first time, we quickly realized it was broken - and it ended up flooding our kitchen flooring and foundation. We were unable to find a technician to come repair it on the Coast, so we inquired with Sears Home Services. I submitted the make and model of the dishwasher, along with the issues as indicated by the plumber that came to secure the flooding. Our Sears technician came from Portland around 0930 (with a time slot of 8:00 AM-5:00 PM). He did not seem to have any information about our appointment, and was not very friendly at all. He did not have the parts to fix the dishwasher, and it was going to cost $500 to have them ordered in addition to labor. Nothing was solved, and we had to pay the diagnostic fee in addition to getting a new dishwasher instead. The entire experience was a waste of time and money, and it appears that the only services Sears offers are attempts to persuade people into paying for their appliance insurance program.

Avoid the headache and don't use Sears Home Services
Benjamin seemed like a nice person and did a good job repairing our machine, but had no sense of time. We had two appointments with him and were scheduled for the 8 AM- noon appointment window. Both times he called to say he would be there between 11 and noon; both times he arrived after 3 PM with no real explanation of why. I get that he likely had other service calls, but how can his estimate be that far off? And why did he not reach out to provide an update of his delay? Also, Sears Home Services as a company has terrible customer service. DO NOT USE! There is absolutely no way to communicate with a real person. You can call a phone number, but it's just an automated system that eventually refers you their website if it can't take care of things over the phone. The website does the same---refer you to the phone number if it can't take care of something on the website. It took over a month to get my machine repaired because of the appointments made available to me, yet I got texts and emails everyday saying that they had earlier appointments available and that I should go to the website to schedule an earlier time. When I did that, it said it couldn't complete that request and to call the phone number. The phone number sent me back to the website. Sears Home Services used to be a great company to work with--reliable, polite, good value. No more. Ben did an adequate job of repairing my machine but the overall experience was not acceptable.

Experian Worker
Kept us informed on his arrival time, down to his arriving. Went directly to getting the parts needed, & started working. Informed us when he was done with in a hour, & it was working just fine. Cleaned up his work area. Informed me to check the freezer temperature the next morning to see if the cup of water was frozen. If not pull the power cord, & request a new follow up appointment.

Very bad customer service! No ability to speak with a human
Wasting machine still leaks! I did not touch a thing other than load the washer and turn it on technician indicated that I was not tightening the pump tight enough. He tightened it and I didn't touch anything after that. This is the worst customer service Ever ! No ability to speak with a human. I am now into the fake warranty protection parts labor and deductible well over $500. And I still have a machine that leaks!

Left it broken
The repair person came to switch out a part to fix our oven which is under warranty. Instead he switched out the part and left the oven completely not working. And just left. He could have at least put the old part on that was marginally working so we could use it while Kenmore replaced or refunds us. This has been a really bad and long repair experience.
