Call these guys if you want to deal with only AI and stupid internet service. I never got to talk to an actual person and they canceled on me in the last hour of the 4 hour window. Unacceptable. Terrible service in a service based industry. Stay away.

the absolute worst! Do not use! They gave me a time of arrival for my technician that I could track online. So I ran an errand for 10 minutes knowing that I had over an hour to get back and they showed up and left! no phone call no way to contact them other than just a button to reschedule. No callback number. The absolute worst will never use again.

Very upset that I scheduled my appointment for 1-5 pm on Wednesday February 4 and the technician called me at 11:30 am saying he was there. When I said that my slot wasn’t until 1 pm and I was still at work, he was very confused but said he would try coming back. I was confused too, and when I got off at 1 pm and went home, I saw my appointment had been listed as a no show. I ended up calling the technician back, asking if he was planning on coming back and he said he would ‘try’ to. At 4:40 I decided to cut my losses and reschedule but I am very upset. And when I tried to speak to a person there is no option to, you have to use the AI program, which is EXTREMELY frustrating when you have a specific problem. All I want is my dryer fixed and now I get to wait another four days.

Changed my arrival window 3 times throughout the day. Had 1-5pm. They tried to say tech was coming at 6:20pm. After saying he was arriving by 2:45pm. Shocking to no one the tech never showed. There’s no number to call. Nobody to talk to. It’s no wonder their stores fail. I canceled and contacted S&K Appliances in Hilliard, was on the phone with the tech in under an hour and they were at my house shortly after.

Sears has gone AI centric and even their service work has decreased in excellence. They broke my dryer panel on a routine W/D cleaning and check up in August. I had to call a few weeks ago to find out why they hadn’t replaced the panel and the AI attendant told me I would owe a $128 service fee for them to come out and see if I was correct about my dryer. The service person came, agreed about the issue, ordered the part and the service person who came to replace the part today, was on the phone when he left my house saying everything was good to go. When I went to check, the dryer was trying to find my so-do, which ai don’t use with my driver. 2 hours later, the dryer is stuck in a loop to find the wi-fi and I can’t get it out of the loop. Tried to call Sears and the AI attendant is back to the concept I have to pay for help meanwhile, I cant use my dryer.

This is the firstd review I have ever left for just about anything. This was so so so bad. The tech cancelled after indicating they were on their way. I had to leave work to meet them. There is no person you can talk to... just an endless doom loop of AI not solving the problem. As an edit to this review - they replied here they were sorry and to call an 800 # so they could make it right. The 800 # was the same AI intro I referenced above.

I had them come out due to water leaking out of my HVAC unit. Technician cut my drain pipes told me to get a bucket for it and said that he is not a plumber. The pictures show that water is still dripping out of my HVAC unit. It wasn’t the drain line and I cannot get in touch with anybody to talk to me about this. This was scheduled with my home warranty And looking at your receipt, this would’ve been $434 bill That fixed nothing in fact with him cutting my drain pipe he left me any worse position than I had him come out. I had a plumber come out to follow up after this mess and he was blown away at what the Technician did and there was not even a clog where the Sears Technician claimed there was. That was another $250.00 wasted fixing this guys mess. This company is a joke, After they responded to my 1 star review I tried to follow up and there is no way to contact them. I see that they provide the same generic feedback and I see many others had a terrible experience of not being able to contact them regarding poor customer service. The AI phone system and the AI chat bot on the website is very unhelpful. As a last ditch effort I saw they had an address that is close to my location so I tried to go and visit them to talk to a manager or something to resolve my poor service appointment. The location does not seem to exist. I was assigned them by my Home Warranty Company. I will never use Sears Home Appliance again.
