Technician installed part. After he left I went to check to see if it was getting cold. The temperature level selectors were not working. It was stuck on '0' I called and left a message on the phone number he called me on to let me know he was at my home. I never got a call back. The instructions to the new control board were still in the package that it came in. It had to be programmed in order to work. I went through the procedure on the instructions and then was able to get the settings to move up and down. The refrigerator is cooling now.

I cant really rate an experience where the tech did not keep me in the loop other than for payment. I am truly befuddled as to why I did not receive a call even after reaching out to Choice to complain that the tech ONLY communicated with my tenants. I need to be in the loop and was treated with zero consideration. I am still waiting on a call about my furnace that supposedly needs to be replaced because the part needed for a repair is no longer made. Seems odd to me and because he did not call me, I could not ask follow up questions. The last CHW tech that said my AC could not be repaired, was not correct and I had to pay $800 rather than 12,000 and guess what? It is still working SO, maybe have the tech call me. It would make me very happy to be able to be informed as I should be since I am the home owner. Thank you for the opportunity to leave feedback that ought to improve future service experience with CHW and Sears.

He was able to figure out the issue in less than 5 minutes. He told me that my freezer door would haven't be replaced and an approximate time frame. I got another opinion and found out that the broken wire originally found can be spliced and repaired. No $900 to replace the door(the home warranty company refused to replace the door). Be careful ppl

The serviceman was polite and professional, but was disappointed in the way Sears operated. I had told them exactly what was needed, but they did not order the part. So they wanted him to come back a second time and then charge us $477. So instead we were charged $128 for nothing. Maybe Sears should have an online estimate for a small fee.

Sears is a joke I had a confirmed appointment for 8-10 then they said the tech is late 2-4 then they kept pushing it. It’s now 10pm and they still sending “on there way texts” they wasted my entire day and haven’t even bothered to call me to cancel or reschedule!

Chris is one of the nicest guys. However, Sears has been to my house no less than 5 times to fix my GE Profile Refrigerator and they have put in a new ice maker, a new inlet water valve, a new Tri Valve in the door, and a new motherboard. The refrigerator is still producing NO ICE and on this last visit, my lights are no longer working in the upper part of refrigerator. Although I appreciate the effort they have made and have not charged anything above what the new ice maker cost + labor, it is still not fixed. Unbelievably frustrating company to work with. You can only get a human through the chat feature. Google “how to set up a zoom call with Sears Home Services” and you will see an option for Chat. Good luck!!

We’ve been trying to get someone out to repair our dryer since May 4. Our appointment has either been rescheduled, or no one showed up. What type of customer service is this? Why is it that you can not speak to an actual person? There should be a way that we can contact the service provider scheduled to come for the repair. Not happy at all with the lack of customer service with your company.
