I’ve used Sears before and had great service for a washer. Since then they have switched to an AI customer service. They now spam call, text and email me non stop.

The repairman came to my house on April 11 to repair my refrigerator. I could not have asked for the man to be any nicer. Within in 15 minutes after him leaving we realized the wrong part had been installed, and the refrigerator was still malfunctioning. A new part was sent and a repairman was scheduled to fix the refrigerator again on May 9. Today is May 14 and there is still no service repairman from Sears. I called them, and the first day that they can come is Saturday May 17th. My husband has a monthly service agreement with Sears. They have taken his money, but not given correct service, and then not returned to fix their mistake. This is a total breach of contract. What really screams "scam" is the fact my husband is elderly, and I am disabled. This "service protection plan" genuinely appears to target elderly and disabled individuals. Sears contacted him to buy their plan, he didn't contact them. They purposefully approached him. they take his money every month, and now will not correctly fix this refrigerator. This gives the impression of Robber barons selling snake oil in the 1800's. Age discrimination, and discrimination against disabled persons is against the law, but Sears is doing this and getting away with it.

The technician was very unfriendly. Would not listen to me and wouldn’t answer questions. He did not tell me what was wrong with the dishwasher, just what it would cost fix which was twice the price of the dishwasher.

Technician brought in no tools into my home. Horribly dressed with butt crack showing. No diagnosis under the dryer panel Did not take off a panel to look at anything Told me the cost was $900+ for the button switch and said “I recommend you do not do the repair due to the price being so high” I said ok and told him the cost to come out was stated at time of appointment was $100 the text received this morning said $129. Offered to pay the $100 plus tax as told at time of appointment the technician would not accept less than $129 plus tax $9.09. He sat in the van outside my home in his truck for a bit and left.

He looked more like a homeless person then a professional service man. He told me it wasn't fixable and I got a second opinion which said he was wrong. I think he just didn't want to fix it.He got $129.for doing nothing. I won't be using them again!

Took off work to have my washer fixed. Appointment time was 1-5. At after 6pm, I got a notification that he was on the way. Customer service said they have no control over their techs and the techs determine the price of repair. Cancelled appointment and will be going somewhere else. If you value your time and want someone to respect you, this isn’t the place for you.

Had a refund issued almost a month ago and have yet to see it because they couldn’t repair my equipment. Everytime I call their customer service they add another week onto the date they originally promised me my refund. 0/10. First they told me I would have my refund within 5 business days. Then that changed to 14 business days. Now they are saying 30 business days. Update: here we are. It’s now MARCH 6th and 5 calls to your customer service and 5 false promises later and I still have NOT received my refund of almost $500.00. I would love to hear your response to this SEARS as your technician authorized the refund back to my card and promised with 5 business days on January 21st. Oh and that phone number you provided in your last response sends me to the call center that keeps making the false promises and hasn’t refunded my money.

Two appts scheduled…..two no call no shows. Unfortunately we paid for the warranty program, otherwise I wouldn’t use the service. Once this appliance is fixed, I plan to discontinue the warranty program.
