The repair man really didn't know how to diagnose what was wrong with my washing machine. He said he only had 3 months experience. His diagnosis was that the motor was bad. After he left i Google troubleshooting on machine and it turned out to be a faulty electrical problem. Found the parts and fixed the problem.

TERRIBLE. If i could give Zero Stars I would I had a technician come by and do a diagnostic. i decided at the time to go with a repair and paid in full in advance. A) the part never shipped, B) I never received the part C) I had to cancel both the part and the repair when the part did not arrive in a timely manner D) they have YET to refund my money (less the diagnostic cost). Getting a LIVE person is nearly impossible with this organization and they even had the audacity to send an email to ask if i have any unused parts to return - as I said I NEVER GOT THE PARTS. I decided then and there to buy a washer (not from Sears) and i did.. the one they hoped to fix is gone. And the new washer was only 200 dollars more than they wanted to repair my 30 year old machine . Avoid this service if you can (They still have a record of work...which they did not do, all they actually did was a diagnostic and schedule a return based on when the technician expected the part to be delivered to ME not to a shop- additionally, their parts people seem to not know what they sent and what they did not - all were cancelled because they never shipped)

Do not use Sears Appliance repair. They gave me an incorrect diagnosis on my maytag washer that would've overcharged by at least $500.

Huge disappointment and bait and switch job. I requested an appointment and knew I would have to pay the $100 for the visit, the service guy gave me a bill of $800 to do the repairs (ice maker and door gasket), Service guy suggested I sign up for the warranty instead to save money and then I can file 3 claims in one, which I did. Turns out you wait 30 days-after you sign up, then file a claim and pay $100 deductible, then each additional claim is another $100 deductible, you wait for another visit(which the service guy never showed), I already knew the parts so I texted him when he finally called 6 hours after the appt time and numerous phone calls to customer service. Service guy supposedly ordered parts, which never showed up, then when you cancel the service agreement because you can't get service they want to charge you a early termination fee. Stay away from this horrible service if you can. Find a local repair man if they are still around or just buy a new unit as I will end up doing.

My husband stayed home today to wait for the technician who was supposed to be here between 8 and 5. We are not happy

Took repair 2 months to arrive to service AC unit only to refuse to do anything until I provided a 6 foot ladder for entrance into the attic. Charged $108+ for nothing! Had to reschedule after he left. I WILL REFUSE TO PAY ANOTHER $100 co-pay. Very hard to get hold of anyone to lodge a complaint.
