Tech was unable to make any repairs. In fact, he actually worsened the situation. We are loyal Sears customers and have maintenance plans on all of our appliances - this experience has been very upsetting. Sears "Stac" department has not been helpful either. Disappointing and still in dispute.

If I could rate them lower and still write a review, I would. On March 23rd, I called and had a technician come out to diagnose a problem with my dryer. It was a hefty repair cost as their diagnosis costs 110 and the drum wrapper was broken (an approx $250 part). They talked me into a whole home warranty to cover the repair and any other issues that came up. After that, for weeks into months, their call center told me the part was back-ordered. They kept scheduling service techs to come to my house and cancelling them. I would call to inquire about the part that I had to pay for in advance, and after an at least ten minute phone call (waiting on hold, confirming my info, asking me questions), they would tell me it was back ordered, that they would get back to me in 48 hours. I was never contacted except for another cancelled service appointment. By the end of April, I finally was fed up and cancelled my service and warranty. They said I would not receive a full refund on the home warranty since "I used it". They still have not refunded the part. I'm not sure they've cancelled the order. Last week a tech was on his way to my house. Here's the kicker. I called Samsung. The part was not even back ordered. I ordered from Samsung directly and had the part (cheaper!) in less than 2 weeks, and they got me in touch with a great company (NiSI) to fix it the next day. All in all, I've spent well over 50 hours on the phone talking to Sears reps, first trying to get my dryer fixed, and then just trying to cancel the service and get my money back. I've never had to deal with a company so frustrating. How they have such a high rating here is BEYOND comprehension. I hope that I get my money back so I can put this whole thing behind me.

Tech was great appliances suck. Been try to get this fixed since last October. Sears motra used to be "We service what we sell" well they used to kmart fired all the sears Techs, they have contractors and you can't get one for months. One day they have parts, next day they done. Sears is dead. They should just shut it down and let it rest in piece. Wurst run company in the world. They suck.

In the past used this company to repair my gas oven. The guy who came to do diagnostic managed to double cash my check by posting it thru his phone, and when I canceled second charge, they sent my "debt" to collection. He also did not provide any report stating that he would contact to me later. After waiting for several weeks I contacted Sears repair and found out that the repairman did not even put the report into system. It turned out that one of the parts was no longer available so they refused to do any repairs. Meanwhile, at the beginning of this ordeal, I was forced into contract with them which I canceled immediately after I found out that they offer only their products as replacements, which I was not interested in. Today, I was trying to call them to schedule refrigerator repair, because they were indicated as only closest service, and the woman on phone told me because I canceled their contract last time they cannot do anything for me, and she gave me a phone number of the repair company that located 25 miles away and not at service at the moment. Pretty much, it sound like an extortion. If I do not have a year contract with them (that amounts to about 800), they refuse the service. I thought they service any clients regardless existence of special annual contract.

* The technician (I wish I got his name) did a fine job and the refrigerator is running fine now. I have all good things to say about the technician... However, I am very dissatisfied with the amount of time that it took from my original call to Sears repair until the actual day the refrigerator was repaired. It took 5 months! That is completely unacceptable.

appointment from 8-12 did not show up till almost 4 right away asking me if i want reschedule cause it was late, Tech did not even look at bottom of washer as i reported leak, he hit 2 buttons said cannot fix it would be 600 dollars

Horrible I made an appointment for June 20th and I get a call today that the technician is no longer available that day we can get there july15. Uhhhh no that's no good bye bye!

I could not believe I had reached Sears service. Once they get your phone number in the system it impossible to speak to a person. The technician had more jobs than he could cover, so he was not able to give me any service at all. My experience was very disappointing, I am a senior who had always held Sears and it's products highly. Not this experience.
