Technician was great! The scheduling was horrible. Each appt was set 3 times for an 8a-5p arrival. Each time contact was made after 5p - sitting home all day waiting for tech. They need to do better.

The technician was knowledgeable, ordered the heating element part and the oven was fixed within 10 days. Sears as usual did not do well. Reminder phone call came the morning of the appointment rather than the day before saying my appointment was for ”tomorrow “. Said the tech was on his way when he wasn’t. He called me 30 minutes later and said it would be about 30 minutes, so a hour later. Very poor customer service. Giving Sears 9 hrs to show up is ridiculous. A definite 2 hr window would be more customer friendly. The possible time is given by 7AM after I have gotten up much earlier than I usually do in order to be available at 8 AM. Think of your customer instead of your needs!

The service take was fine. The issue is with the service and getting an appointment that is kept. Impossible to talk to a human. I would give the tech a 5. However the company I'd give about a2.

Long story short, I contacted sears. They sent a repairman. He had to order the part. They required me to pay up front. The part came in, they installed it. It was the wrong part. They ordered a new part. It never came. They showed up 3 weeks later...still no part. They refused to answer my call or texts and I could see he was reading them. They finally show up but still no part. He said he would refund my money and when I asked for a business card he would not give me one. Very unprofessional and became almost threatening when I took a video picture of his truck. There is no way to contact Sears. I am still out 710.00. I will be seeing my lawyer.

They went to the wrong house. No call was made to be able clarify that they were at the wrong house. Waited all day and still need my fridge fixed. A simple call should have been made.

The Techs do a good job, but SHS is horrible to communicate with, and over charge for parts and service. If I didn't have a warranty the parts and service was $1200. Diagnosis they charged $139, and tech did not test anything to confirm the issue. It was a guess from experience. Worst part, you can't ever talk to a human. Everything is AI, and no communication for issues.
