Robert was a knowledgeable and helpful technician. However, I found the Sears Appliance Repair service to be difficult this time. Initially, I was asked for the error code on the washer so that the technician would arrive with the proper part. I gave that information to Sears on my first call. Yet, the first technician who came to my home had to order the part and said it would take a week to arrive. The part arrived early, and I called for an earlier appointment. Robert then came and showed me that the part, which had been sent, was in fact defective. He had to re-order the part, and we set another appointment. At no time was I informed that I needed to notify Sears Appliance Repair when it arrived. But, AFTER the part arrived, my appointment was cancelled with the message that the part had not arrived. Once again I had to reschedule the appointment. I was without a washing machine for an unnecessary length of time. Robert repaired it in under 30 minutes, once we had the right part. It is also very difficult to have to hold open an entire day for Sears repair. it would be more user friendly if there could be an AM or a PM appointment.
