Will have to pay two service fees for a simple connections fix while healing from hip replacements surgery. Thanks Sears and Choice Home Warranty. A refrigerator water line is generally considered part of the home's plumbing system once installed, as it creates a permanent connection to the water supply. While the shutoff valve exists, repair technicians often refuse to repair damaged lines due to liability risks regarding leaks, requiring a licensed plumber instead.

Are refrigerator was still keeping every thing cold, ice was still staying frozen when tech left and we started getting are food out to prepare dinner we saw that are food was warm and ice was melting meat defrosting tech had to have done something to are fridge we had to throw everything out my wife and I are not happy at this point

Communication is desperately needed between the technician and the sears shop people. Because my appointment was moved to Tuesday. It was supposed to be on a Monday. The sears shop people did not know my part that was ordered and sent to my house. But the shop people did not know that. So when I called on Monday. They had to reschedule my appointment for Tuesday. Which did not please me at all. Because there was no communication with me or the tech or the sears shop people.Yes Robert finally came out Tuesday and did a great job installing my ice maker.But everybody needs to communicate with everybody.Thank you. Won't use again. Was given a time for arrival between 8-12, but was called at 10:45 to tell me time changed to noon and 2 pm and that they take credit card and cash. Didnt ask me, told me. Seemed indifferent to my needs, but ok. Arrived at 2. Reason for visit was to check washing machine because it seemed loud. Tech didn't find anything contributing to noise except maybe high water pressure. Did point out soap dispenser leaking, probably because water turned to high but didn't try to lower it to test theory. I tried to lower water pressure from outside valve, but no luck and instead he suggested I lower it from behind the washer. Me? Sooooo, l asked if he could just lower it but he had already put the washer back and he said he could tell me how much it would be for him to lower it. Way overpriced to get advice for cleaning washer and on top of that to pay for him to turn a knob so the water doesn't leak through dispenser. To tell ME to climb behind the washer and turn the water down when he easily could've done so, was pretty poor customer service, plus the whole rescheduled phone call that only focused on what payment types they accept, and not the additional hrs I needed to wait, warrants this type of review score.

He was prompt came earlier than expected. I appreciated this. However, My dryer was no longer making sound. He diagnosed by what I said and never took anything apart to look. Then gave me a very high estimate and told me he would have to order parts. We were not comfortable having this fixed without getting another opinion. We thought the belt might be bad as well and he wasn't going to order a belt. Because he has to order everything we weren't confident that he could fix everything. And we could have to wait longer to order again. It also didn't feel good to know he didn't look.

Condescending repair man. According to him I use my dryer too much that's why this is the 3rd time I've had it repaired and it hasn't even been a yea that I bought it. His Kenmore has never been repaired and he's had it for 30 years. He was hemming and hawing the entire time and his attitude told me he did not want to be here!

Quick fix to problem. Took technician about 10 minutes to resolve the problem. Definitely not worth $173 for a technician to come change a filter in an icemaker. The technician was fine. Your prices are out of sight.
