Automated system sucks. No way to get a real person on the phone to handle appointment issues. Waited all day for service… 8am-5pm arrival window. Got a call finally around 3:30pm from someone saying they would arrive at 6:30. Got another call at 5:30 saying the system took me off their route. Automated system had no remedy. Wasted day. Also, the one real person I did speak to said the cost would be $600+. Called a local company the next day, they were here by 11am. Cost of repair was only $170. Didn’t have to deal with any automated systems. So glad I didn’t buy the home warranty Sears tried to push on me for 50% discount. Final cost would have still been DOUBLE! Do yourself a favor and find a local company, and skip this has been company that is recklessly now adopting new technology with no consideration for their potential new clients. Sears - you need to have a backup plan for when your dumb AI service FAILS!

Horrible. No idea of what is in the work orders, terrible delays, parts are never in stock and certain ones have attitudes that are less than ideal.

The worker was very rude!! Tried to tell him the problem and what the fire department said was the cause. But he was here for about 5 minutes and was stuck on what he said not the fire department. He refused to wait on a call back from the fire marshall . He got his bag and mumbled something and went out the door.. The next thing we know he just pulled off.. Very rude!!

Received a call at 12 from a kind repair guy… after I had spent almost an hour this morning trying to see if anyone was coming today… having waited almost a month. I was hung up on when I called the 1-800# because my phone number didn’t match any outstanding ticket. Then called Lowe’s back, they couldn’t get an answer either and promised to find me a replacement repair person asap. When the repair guy called later in the day, he said that he was originally told it was to repair a fridge, unfortunately he didn’t work on dishwashers. I understand mistakes happen, and I never give 1’s in reviews… but I wasted a lot of time.

Heads up: they use an AI phone service. I wasn't able to speak to a real person and was informed that "no one was available to support my area" although I never provided that information. Very frustrating experience and a waste of time.

Horrible. My washing machine is having a problem, so I scheduled a technician to come out. The morning of, I got a text from Tim, stating that he was about 45 minutes out. I replied and gave some additional information about my machine, specifically that it does have a dryer stacked on top that I am not able to get down by myself. I also said my error code and what trouble shooting I have already tried. I did this because the website has nowhere to put information like this. A few minutes later, I get a call from a very impatient sounding man with a thin nasal voice. He doesn't introduce himself so I ask if he is Tim. He answered to the affirmative, and snottily asked me if I still needed him to look at the washer. I mean.... obviously yes, when my reply to his text stated as such. I told him I did, and he said he was 7 minutes away. I explained that the website didn't have a place for further information about the problem, and he gave some weird answer saying "No, not since COVID.". Ok sir did COVID eat part of your brain? Because that made no sense. 15 minutes later, Tim arrived in my driveway. He sat there for upwards of 10 minutes, with his van door open, angrily yelling at somebody on the phone. I could hear him from inside the house. It was so unprofessional and disturbing to hear. My immediate reaction was to slowly close and lock my door, and text him stating that I felt uncomfortable proceeding with the appointment and that I would find a different repair company. I don't play around with gut feelings. He didn't even bother trying to explain, the cancellation text came immediately, and he left. The Sears appliance phone number and website have no place to leave feedback or get a real person on the phone to express these concerns to. There is no way I was going to pay almost $130.00 in diagnostic fees just to feel uneasy with a stranger in my home, working on a very expensive appliance that he could easily have messed up, since he seemed to be quite emotional. Your technicians represent your company when they are out on calls. This was a horrible first impression, and cost you a customer. I scheduled with a different repair company that will send a normal human being to my home. I would suggest Tim undergo further training as he does not appear to know how to interact with customers or people on the phone in general. Perhaps anger management or some therapy would help him get his emotions in order whilst on the job. At the very least, a refresher course on customer service would probably be beneficial.
