Subject: Urgent Update: Ongoing Issues with Sears Home Services Warranty. I’m writing to express my frustration with Sears Home Services (SHS) regarding their failure to honor our warranty plan. Since August 2024, my family has been without a functioning freezer. SHS has scheduled multiple appointments to repair it, but each time, they have failed to show up. After the second missed appointment, I submitted an online review. SHS responded by advising me to contact their service department again. We complied, but the only outcome was rescheduling—only to face another no-show. Here’s a summary of the repeated issues: 1. SHS schedules an appointment. 2. The appointment is confirmed. 3. On the day of service, I receive a notification that a technician will arrive between 8 AM and 5 PM. 4. I get a text stating a technician is at my residence, but no one arrives. 5. I then receive a request to rate and review the service. 6. After speaking with customer service, start back at 1 above. Despite my efforts, including speaking with supervisors, escalation departments, and warranty managers, the result has always been a no-show. As my spouse serves in the military and we live on a military installation, I know that a technician with a valid driver's license can gain entry, as other service providers do. I can’t help but feel that SHS may not be servicing military families on installations. I sincerely hope that’s not the case. Today’s appointment ended with yet another no-show. 23 October 2024

I honestly cannot give a rating for this. The problem with my washing machine is not resolved and I absolutely cannot use it. It continues to ruin clothes and to try already tried and failed resolutions is preposterous. I also will never recommend Sears for any tjing!

Sears Appliance Services near Fayetteville NC is absolutely the worst service I have ever encountered. After calling them to repair our washer that was less then 18-month-old it took 3 visits and a fist full of money for them to NO SHOW us on the 4th visit. We had to purchase a new machine and now having issues getting a refund for their absorbent incompetence; not to mention the 16 hours of PTO I had to use while waiting on them to do nothing. There is a reason SEARs and their products have vanished from existence...do yourself a favor and find another service company.
