2 visits did not check freon on first time left the compressor running even when off first visit did not say the compressor was fried we do have it cleaned and hose it out periodically lastly he told us everything was ok a couple hours later called choice and found out what he told them. how do i know he didn't do something wrong this time too. we found a part in our yard from the first visit

I did NOT find Byron to be a good face for your company. 1) He didn't volunteer identification; responded with his name when requested. 2) He did NOT feel "friendly/pleasant." He was so unfriendly that I actually wondered if he was racist, since I was not able to discern the source of his unfriendliness. 3) I felt "rebuked" when I specified that part of the problem would be associated with a hole in one of the tubes that process water to the dishwasher. I said "I'm not trying to diagnose the problem by sharing the information," and he responded (something to the effect of ) "you ARE diagnosing it." I was only attempting to inform him of ONE of the problems, so that he wouldn't confuse that particular problem with being the "whole diagnosis" of the matter. 4) When he left, he didn't volunteer a diagnosis of an absolutely horrible stench that filled the atmosphere toward the end of his work. I remain curious if the stench (which, at my inquiry, he said was water that had been stagnant in the dishwasher) resulted in any leakage. I should note that it was the FACT of the dishwasher leaking into the ceiling of the basement that contributed to some extremely expensive repairs to our property' Extremely expensive repairs. I remain unaware of the ramification(s) of the stagnant stenching water in the dishwasher system. I can only hope that it doesn't lead to some other repair issues. But my point is that he did not initiate a discussion of it, nor explain any ramifications from it. 5) It took him three trips to conclude the diagnosis: a) The 1st time he said it was three small parts that needed to be replaced; which he ordered without any detailed diagnostic discussion b) The 2nd trip he said that the dishwasher needed "a tub," which he ordered, again, with no associated information c) The 3rd trip was when he concluded the work (assisted by a very nice associate) leaving the horrible stench that I just detailed in the note just above, # 4. I'll stop here.

Very disappointed.

No star. I talked to several people at A&E about how this was handled and technician on September 27. A&E agreed tech did not do right. First,aug 2nd placed to come out,a week later aandce said they over booked. Then had reasign for 3 weeks later in our very hit house. The rest should be in notes at a and e. Had to call choice home warrenty to reassign again.

Refrigerator repair quote.

Very disappointed when asking to give a quote for the repair of the refrigerator. Did not give the total amount only the cost of the items they would be replacing to fix. Sears home service was not helpful at all. We will never buy again from Sears.

Problem not solved!!!

The tech came out and changed out my housing assembly telling me that was going to resolve my waterline issue. Even with assembly changed the problems still remain with water discharging.,

no concern for quality

I have been trying to get my ice maker fixed since May. I have had 6 appointments. 2 times the technician never provided status and never showed up. 4 times the technician showed up and didn't fix the problem. Today the technician installed the delivered parts and left without verifying the problem was fixed. In fact, he asked me to shut off water, i went into basement and did so, then waited for him to ask me to turn it back on. After 20 min or so with no feedback i went upstairs to find my door left open and the technician gone. I later received emails implying i had signed for services when i never did so. Bottom line - 5 months of horrible service, problem not fixed, technicians not seeming to care.

Problem Not Fixed

Unfortunately, the repair only lasted about an hour before my dishwasher was right back to its non-working state. Now I'm stuck waiting for someone to contact me to schedule a follow-up appointment since you can't actually get through to a live person when calling in.

A&E Service is horrible

It took two months before the technician actually tried yo repair my refrigerator. Then after he left my freezer stopped working. I made a third appointment and no one ever showed up. When I called they said they had come by but I wasn't home. I hired a whole different company and found out he had installed the part wrong and crossed the wires and didn't put it in all the way.
