Technician was good, timely, but Choice/Sears refused to replace the door of my microwave. It’s unusable without the repair. It’s money down the drain, both for the contract and for the $75 service call. I’m not happy with Choice. I want a refund.

I was happy that they sent a different Tech out. That found the problem mediately the second time and explain to me in detail. What was wrong said he would call the Insurance Company and let them know. I was very happy with his work.

The tech was very friendly and professional. However after diagnosing the problem, ordering parts and receiving parts within three days, we had to wait a month until the tech could return and complete the repair. Fortunately we had a backup refrigerator. Otherwise I don't know what we would have done for a month. This time lapse is just too long.

All day on the 18th of April I kept getting reminders that I had an appointment that day between 8:00am and 5:00 pm. to repair my range. The repair parts were here but Ricky or anyone else did not come.

ABSOLUTLEY THE WORST EXPERIANCE. Never even gave us a issue, it could be this and could be that. then says he can switch blades for 450.00 bucks when the blades are 19.95. my wife tells him no and then he demands payment now. right now. i told him i was paying it and to send me a invoice and he says he wont leave till he gets paid on the spot. then was absolutely rude to my wife the entire time i was paying from across town. i called him up and asked about and all he did was give excesses. Rick is the worst ever.

Worst experience imaginable. On October 6th, my dryer—still under warranty—stopped working, and unfortunately the repair service was handled through Sears Appliance Repair. That’s where the nightmare began. Every single bit of “support” was AI, and it was an absolute disaster. The AI scheduled three separate appointments, and not once did a technician bother to show up. Instead, I received the wrong parts shipped to my house—multiple times. When a tech finally appeared, weeks late, he had to order the correct parts all over again. The dryer wasn’t actually fixed until November 20th. For six weeks, my family of five had to scramble, waste time, and spend our own resources just to dry our clothes—because their AI system is completely incapable of handling real-world problems. With no human to talk to, there was literally no one who could step in when things went wrong. And trust me, everything went wrong. The technician himself was fine. But the AI-driven customer “service”? An absolute travesty. Whoever thought removing humans from customer support was a good idea has clearly never experienced their own system. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone—not even as a joke.
