I was disappointed when my first Technician unexpectedly cancelled my appointment and Sears rescheduled for another day without consulting me first. That is the reason for only 3 stars. But I was very satisfied with my Service Technician that did come out to assess my Frigidaire upright freezer. He was thorough and helped me understand his assessment as well as next steps for repair. I appreciated his honestly and knowledge of the appliance.

The person who came to install the parts was rude and asked why the parts were ordered. He seemed to be in a hurry to get the repair done. Why wasn’t the same repairman sent to finish the job instead of sending someone who didn’t know or care about what was going on? Your employees seem to forget that this repair was done from a contract that was purchased from your company. Your company wants people to purchase these contracts and then gives them a lot of crap just to get the repair done. We won’t be purchasing another contract with your company!

I called the service center because my refrigerator doesn’t cool properly, the repair man Kevin came in time was very nice he told me the fan of the refrigerator needs to be replaced and he estimated it will cost me around $600 and 30 days guarantee ; the repair price is too high considering I can get a new refrigerator for this price,I paid $149 for the estimation and I have to buy a new one To be honest it is not worth to even try, just buy new appliances to replace. Thank you

Had a dryer thermal fuse replaced and charged $337. The part was 30 dollars ( even lower if you buy from Home Depot) and labor was over 300 for a 20 min job. This is like highway robbery. If you want any return customer you need to change your pricing immediately. Nothing against the technician because he wasn’t the one who decide on the price and he got the job done, which is the only reason I gave a two star instead of one.

I really recommend someone call me to ask how this went rather than me slamming A&E in a review

very poor service and delayed response

Technician did not know how to properly access the area of our stove to provide service, took apart the stove in the wrong place. Then was rude to my husband when he questioned the tech about using the proper access panel. So then the tech threatened to just leave the visit if he "didn't feel comfortable." My husband is a journeyman electrician and was ensuring the guy did the job correctly- we only had to use a repair company due to stove being under warranty. I would not recommend this company to anyone that has a choice in what service provider to use

Awful service by Charles yesterday. I requested a regular routine maintenance service (which I have used in the past with no problems) on my dryer just to clean it . My dryer was taken completely apart and I was told it needed a new rotor for $384. I questioned the technician why he took my dryer completely apart for just a cleaning (which never happened before) and now my dyer is not working properly. I tried calling Sears and cannot get a live customer service agent to speak to just an AI agent. Also, this technician Charles tried to smooth things over with me by charging $50 instead of the & $99 maintenance fee, because I complain to him that my dryer was no longer operating the same as before. This occurred not even 24 hours later…my dryer is destroyed. PLEASE, PLEASE. PLEASE DO NOT USE SEARS for maintenance or repairs this was a desperate attempt to get money for a dying company unfortunately. Now I have to replace a dryer that was working just fine. BIG MISTAKE trusting Sears…it really is not the same company.
