No paid invoice or report detailing the problem. Update: Called number suggested in post and couldn't get out of the voicemail loop. Is there a phone number to talk to a person about getting a receipt an report of what was found wrong with the microwave?

While the technician was good he charged $307 for what was no more than an hours worth of work. I found the customer service difficult to work with and felt they misrepresented the Home Service contract. Took me 4 calls to get an itemized receipt and 45 minutes on the phone to cancel the contract. Would not call Sears repair again.

Our technician today did a great job in installing the part needed for our washer. I was glad to have him show up since he was the 4th technician scheduled. I am very disappointed with Sears customer service. We had 3 technicians that did not show up to install a small part in our washer. Called customer service many times & it took a long time to speak to someone. Only to be told they needed to schedule another appointment for another day between 7 am to 4pm. This is so ridiculous. After 3 technicians did not show up and, after waiting all day. My last call to customer service I asked to speak to a manager since the customer service representative was not very helpful. Waited for about 20 minutes for a manager. Representative finally came back on the line & said she was transferring me to a manager. She did not stay online until I was connected, and was disconnected. By this time I was fed up. I did not appreciate wasting my time waiting on 3 separate days all day for a technician to show up. I am very disappointed with Sears customer service. I will not be using their service in the future & will definitely not recommend Sears Home Services.

The Repair Techs were great. The company is terrible. They give you a 9 hour window. Even the cable company gives you a 4 hour window. My first appointment, October 9th, they called me at noon to tell me they were rescheduling my appointment. I asked them to schedule it for October 20th and they scheduled it for October 19th. I rescheduled it for October 18th as by now there are no appointments left for October 20th. Well, October 18th comes and…wait for it…they text me at 11:30 and once again said they were rescheduling me and now we are back to the 19th. Their excuse for rescheduling both times was that they needed two Techs because they had to remove the wall oven from the cabinet. Guess what, two Techs showed up today and the oven was never removed from the cabinet. So, at this point you are probably saying to yourself, “why didn’t this guy call someone else…I couldn’t because it was covered under an extended warranty and No, they weren’t any help either. Horrible customer service, horrible disregard for the customer’s time, and a “could care less attitude” that I had to adjust my work schedule all three times.
