On July 3rd I called Sears appliance repair for my washer. Mario came out and determined the problem was the lid switch and quoted me $457 to repair, and wanted me to pay in advance since he didn't have the part. I told him I'm not paying that, because I dont know if I'll ever see him again (boy was I right). We settled on a $305 deposit, after all it was Sears. He had the part delivered to me from Amazon cost $112. I called him back on July 4th and told him I changed my mind. He said no problem he will come out and I can fill out the paperwork for a refund. That was 4 weeks ago and he has never returned any of my phone calls or text. Now to be fair I had surgery so I really didn't want to deal with it for 2 weeks while I recuperated. I called and left a message on August 8th, and still nothing. I feel $150 per hour $167 service call for a total of $457 is ridiculous. I ended getting the washer fixed for $225 total, and have yet to hear from Mario. On August 9th Mario returned my text and said he will find out when dispatch can route him out here. It is now August 26th, and nothing. Forget dispatch and just refund my money. Per your response to contact you. Your automated phone service does not let me through. I have the part and don't need your money. I'll eat the cost. I will make sure you never show up for service at HS again.

Even though the technician was pleasant, charging $500 for labor to fix my refrigerator compressor is ridiculous! I really feel like I was ripped off and taken advantage of. I will not be using Sears home services again.

We thought that our Maytag Washing Machine was completely repaired when Serviceman left our home but the machine is still "jumping" from one cycle to another . It is not working properly and I'm attempting to speak with someone. Technical support contacted and able reset washer schedules and now washer's working properly now !! Thank you.
