I think when you’ve had an appointment booked and you take off from work then the appointment should stand. I’ve missed 2 days of work because of rescheduling. Other than that, great service.

Brent done good. Though we had a few trials when it came to scheduling, parts orders, and waiting for the phone call confirming an imminent visit, in the end, all was well. The mower was repaired, Brent explained the process, the needs, and how to minimize the problem in the future, cleaned up the mess, and left us with working equipment.
david R,
Customer service response - Thank you for your feedback, David! We're glad Brent was able to resolve the issues and provide helpful advice for the future.

The 2nd technician was very knowledgeable and professional. I give him 5 stars. The first technician missed a huge problem hiding behind the initial evaluation which caused extra time for our appliance to be repaired. The Sears Appliance application needs some fixing. They didn’t have the correct date for repair meanwhile I am getting text messages about the actual repair date. There needs to be a computer tech to repair that app especially if you have to be home all day waiting for the service tech.
Andrea G,
Customer service response - We apologize for the inconvenience with the initial technician and the confusion caused by our application. We appreciate your feedback and are working to improve our services.

Previous msg below - not sure if it ever made it thru. If my calcs are correct, your service protection plan paid a total of $3005.49 for 4 service tech visits to repair our fridge, whose purchase cost was $2700!!! When do you finally determine when a new replacement unit is warranted? Your call, but not sure how you make money with this process, and stretching out the repair for weeks is not really fair to the customer. Jim, our repair guy was great, but if he receives bum parts, then we are all frustrated! New compressor (2nd one) was installed yesterday and the fridge is performing now. PREVIOUS MSG: We are satisfied with the service tech. Nice enough, knowledgeable. We are not satisfied with the results of his efforts. Our Whirlpool fridge stopped cooling on March 5. We set up a claim and the first appt was March 5 for a diagnosis and ordered a new compressor. Next, on March 10, the tech replaced the compressor. This effort failed and the second repair visit took place on Friday, March 13, which also failed. He explained that he felt there was a 'floating/migrating blockage' which he addressed and the temp started to drop to about 32 degrees by evening. The fridge began to cool down, but by the morning of March 14, the fridge had ceased any cooling and was at 67 degrees! Obviously NOT repaired. Not pleased. So, now we are without a fridge for 12+ days and the tech said that if his Fri March 13 repair didn’t take, he would have to come back, assess the issue, then order another compressor and then come back again to install it. We will be gone from March 19 to 25, so a repair attempt would have to take place before the end of the day Wed. March 18, which doesn’t seem likely. Therefore, we will be out of refrigeration for most of the month of March, admittedly 7 days due to our schedule. The March 10 Service Order #13469996 was for $990.11 parts and labor. The March 13 Service Order #13499926 was for $208.48, totaling $1198.59. We paid $2,699 for the fridge, so the protection plan expenditures have accumulated almost half of the cost of the fridge…so far. Now, the 2nd replacement of a new compressor will cost the protection plan a similar amount of $990.11 + $208.48 to add to the initial total of the first two service calls would total $2397.18 – which is nearly the initial cost of the fridge. At what point are we eligible for a new replacement fridge? Cost pd for fridge: $2699 March 10 service $990.00 March 23 service: $208.48 $1198.59 New compressor? +~ $1198.59 = $2397.18 cost of fridge: $2,699 diff: $310.82 At what point are we eligible for a new replacement fridge? Your prompt attention to our issues would be most appreciated. Randy McCormick
