This review is no reflection on the repair tech's. The ones ive had contact with are nice and want to be helpful and know how to repair appliances. Its the overseas folks that have to deal with a outdated limited computer database.Horrible horrible horrible. The protection agreement is useless. 2 months without a fridge. Wrong info on account never updated. Many times calling to get service. No calls no shows no emails for service appointments. Don't bother with there protection agreements.

Easy to schedule an appointment for dishwasher repair. Got confirmation texts before and during the repair day of April 25th. However, the was a no show, no call, no nothing. I took time off to meet the tech during the schedule window of 8 am to 5 pm. Now I'm getting automatic texts for weeks to reschedule with no acknowledgement that they no showed and no called. I have tried to get someone on the phone. No option to get real person. I don't recommend wasting your time...
Richard B,
If I could give 0 stars I would…. I almost never leave reviews which says something to my frustration with service. My wife and I purchased a dishwasher several months ago and got a service warranty along with it. After taking time away from work, our technician came many hours later than we were told to expect. The updates regarding the arrival of the technician were not helpful in the least. Despite this, we found the technician to be very kind. He tested our dishwasher to say that it was draining. My wife and I both asked to see that this was true, to which he tested it with a glass of water. This did not seem to be an accurate assessment of what was going on. He showed us what to do should the issue return, which we have done several times over following his visit. Shortly thereafter we found that this issue had not been resolved as the dishwasher did not drain after use. Speaking with “customer service” is truly a terrible experience. They made no effort to help expedite service despite us already taking time away from our schedules despite a failed initial service attempt. To say that we are dissatisfied is an understatement.

Alex is a great technician, he deserves 5 stars. The timeframe to get a technician to look at our dryer also deserves 5 stars. There were 3 parts he said needed replacing, but he did not have the parts on the truck. After talking to his boss, he said if we decide to have them fix it, the parts would only take a few days, but the repair would be a minimum of two weeks before it could be fixed. As the dryer was an older dryer we declined to have it fixed and just paid the $99 for the technician. Even after declining there were offers to reduce the cost by 20% and offered a whole house warranty that we didn't need.He then said that we could just have the heat control module replaced and the other two parts didn't need replacing quite yet In addition he offered a credit card that offered some kind of points. He even called his boss to see if we changed our mind within a week, would the discount still be good. The problem was how long it would take to actually repair the dryer. Why 1 stars? a few days later we received two different packages with the dryer parts that should never have been ordered and sent to our home. It then became our responsibility to figure out how to return them (not our job) or have them picked up. Good luck talking to someone who understands the issue. My husband had to call 5 times and repeat the story. No luck! I finally was able to communicate via email, getting automated responses. After several emails and several days, I was finally sent an email stating I would receive a label to return the parts. I received a label or QRS code to use. I repackaged the 3 parts, took a picture of the QRS code, and my husband will go to a UPS store to drop it off. This is unacceptable customer service. This should have never been our responsibility!

Our stove was recalled and the company used Sears Appliance Repair as their repair service. We had four no-shows from Sears and they never even showed up to our house let alone fixed the stove. The first two missed appointments, we received calls at the end of the day from Sears rescheduling our appointments. The last two appointments, no one even bothered to call. We only found out they weren’t coming because no one showed up. They kindly gave us a 9-5 window so that’s four days where we couldn’t leave our home, waiting for a repairman to show who never did. There is also no direct way to reach a person when you call Sears Repair Service which was extremely frustrating. It was getting to the point where we hadn’t been able to use our oven for almost two months. We contacted our oven company and they couldn’t believe we had four no-shows from Sears. They thankfully let us use The Appliance Guys who communicated with us before and day of the appointment, came on time, fixed the stove and also explained why it had been recalled. Can’t recommend them enough. Avoid Sears Repair Service at all costs.
Riley S,
Original appointment cancelled by you three times! And now the freezer works but the ice maker DOES NOT! I called for you to come and fix that. Got email saying I had to pay another big fee to check it. NO,NO, NO! It worked before you arrived. Now it does not. I want you to come and fix it at no cost. I have already paid hundreds of dollars. You are making me crazy!!! Eleonore Leight
