Worst service technician ever
Please don't send this technician (Tariq)to my house ever again. Tariq's first to my home, I had told him the technician who came to do my maintenance service said something was wrong with that lower valve and there was no Freon in my system and I he told me to call and pay for a repair service. Tariq went to the basement and I observed him validating the model and serial number and then we moved outside. He removed a panel and unplugged the unit. Then he informed me that the unit needed to be cleaned with a cleaning solution and there was Freon in the system. I told him I used the hose but not this year. He said that wasn't good enough and the warranty wouldn't cover the cleaning. He mentioned my unit was old and it needs to be replaced for $15,000. Tariq put in Freon, and said it wouldn't last. Three days later May 17, 2026, I turned on the air and it blew out air and the house never cooled. Tariq's second, May 22,2026 he refused to go back and look at anything. His stance, and the way he spoke to me made me uncomfortable in my own home. Tariq was once adamant about me purchasing a new unit . He asked me was I ready to purchase a new unit. I believe he was trying to pressure me to purchase a new system. I wonder would he have spoken me in a demeaning manner if a man was present. Then he told me to go get a second opinion and walked out my house. This was very unprofessional. The same day (May 22) The next technician from a different company not from Sears came out and found the lower valve was broken within the first two minutes.

Did not fix the issue
Could not identify the issue. The furnace stopped completely after his visit. Put in notes that the furnace was working correctly when it was not. Would not recommend.

Unprofessional
Failed to file paper work in a timely manner. This is stopping American home shield from getting me the assistance I needed. He was supposed to submit invoice to AHS in 48-72 hours it has not been 6 days.

Did not fix the refrigerator repair
Tech did not spend time to troubleshoot or contact warranty replacement. According to Sears Customer Service Tech did not follow protocol.

Unprofessional

Washer
I was scheduled for 8 am to 12. I received one text saying he would be there @ 1:28. After the window, he arrived at 3 pm without any other notifications. Looked at the washer and said it would be over 2,000 to repair. I needed to ask him to explain the problem to know what was broken. I do not appreciate putting my card details on someone else's phone. Disliked this whole experience. Will not recommend or use your service again.

Jeffrey never showed up for the appointment - ridiculous
We waited for all day for him to come and he never came. Instead we received a receipt with a fake signature. Very disappointed.

Horrible service
Technicians left without servicing the unit and did not even allow us the opportunity to provide him the information he required. He closed out our ticket stating we did not provide info and did not even want to talk to the warranty company representative to clarify issue. I will make sure to NEVER use Sears again. This has been the worst experience by far. I would give them no stars if I could.

Horrible Service
I am on my third visit as of tomorrow and my washer isn't repaired. The first visit I reported that the washer wasn't draining or spinning. A week later a new part arrived and was replaced. I was told the machine completed a full cycle and he left. I put a load in only to discover the washer only completed the wash cycle. It still does not rinse or spin so again I had to wring out clothing by hand and wait another week for what may be poor inefficient service again.
