Adair was outstanding and a true professional in every way. He diagnosed the problem quickly and explained what I must do to make the refrigerator safe for the repair. The part came as promised and gratefully he was also the tech who got the return call. He accomplished the repair quickly, (thermostat) explaining as he went along and further, detected a second issue with the heater coil. He explained my options and what signs I should watch for which would necessitate a second repair. I cannot compliment him enough on his friendly demeanor, professionalism and efficiency. Our service man today was great. This was my free Maintenance check, to be sure the freezer was working correctly. So there was no cost. Virtually all of your service people have been great. I can only think of one bad one several years ago. Our washing machine had overflowed, making our fitted carpet sodden, which we had to take outside to dry. He said nothing was wrong with the machine, but if it happened again, just call Sears and they would come clean it up! (we sometimes have to wait 3-4 weeks for a repair person to come!) An absurd response. We had a different repair man come as soon as possible, and he discovered a part that needed to be replaced. Since the new part was installed, the machine has never overflowed again. There is one thing I hate about Sears Repair - It is nearly impossible to get a person on the phone. I object to you replacing real human beings with AI robots. They put people out of work who need jobs, and they are never able to respond to the specific question or issue I phone about. PLEASE GET RID OF YOUR ROBOTS AND REHIRE HUMAN BEINGS. This issue makes me determined to never renew my contract in the future. I also find "searshomehub.com" impossible to figure out. I can never find what I'm looking for. I know I am not the only one with these specific objections. Again - with only 1 exception, the repair people who have come to the house - including today - have been competent, respectful, nice people.
