The Technician who came (Ed) is not the one listed on the notification as the one who would be coming. Technician was not at all competent in diagnosing the problem. At first he said there was no more leak and the problem was fixed by cleaning out the dishwasher of excess soap. When I challenged how that was possible he changed his story to the spinner arm needs to be replaced which again made no sense at all as the cause of the water leak from bottom left corner of the dishwasher. I am totally dissatisfied with the capability of the technician and want a refund as there was not any proper diagnosis done ! No Service was provided ! After Sears Repair Service saw this post they asked me to contact them. When I contacted them they wanted to charge me again to send a technician again even though the first one was incapable of proper diagnostics !

What a waste of time and money... Once scheduled for an appt, followed the Sears mobile text instructions to send in info including pictures of the maker and model of the appliance needs to be service.. and to have the guy show up at my house very unprofessional and rude to have him charge me $129 service fee just to tell me they don't service the brand of my kitchen hood. is this a joke?? Did they not review the info ahead of the time that I submitted?? Be very careful using SEARS APPLIANCE REPAIR -- scam alert!!!

After several months of aggravation to get my washing machine repaired under warranty in spring of 2024, I am now receiving a bill for repairs on 10/21/24. NIVER purchase from sears AND NEVER purchase their warranty. They sent parts to the wrong address, sent the wrong parts, had to go through hoops to find someone to help for MONTHS!
