Vonzell was a friendly repairman who knows his stuff. He even knew the part numbers needed. I ended up ordering the parts myself on Amazon because of a shipping delay from the warehouse kept pushing back my repair date to almost a full month from my initial appointment. He was able to use what I ordered, which actually saved me money. If you do you ask for service from this company, they will have to come and assess it, but ask them what parts to order before you book a follow-up appointment. Look them up on Amazon, while they are there and then book another repair date after you will definitely have received the parts from Amazon. Giving this 3 stars not for the repairman, but for the shipment delays.

Overall rating

The rating is the result of the cancellation of the appointment two times by “Richard”, the assistant. As a customer, I don’t know if a computer cancelled the appointment twice, or if the Sears Appliance Repair division is going through a staff reduction. The technician that was assigned to the third appointment, Ricky, was very friendly, very knowledgeable, and resolved the problem of the refrigerator quickly. He deserves a 5.

There was nothing wrong with my washing machine.” You just need a new soap cover and they no longer have that make “.otherwise you are all set, Then you still pay $129.00 even though I did nothing!!! I should have paid a fraction.I have all W:machine and stove bought from Sears and still looking very new but the service is not good and fair if nothing is wrong with the equipment.

We have questions about the evaluation of our built-in kenmore range and stovetop. Two of the four burners don’t ignite. The tech said it was a clogged gas line. But we think the lack of a spark suggests it is the igniter that is faulty. We would like a follow up so we can discuss a repair instead of a new appliance purchase. Thank you.

I gave this three stars not for the work that they did because he did an awesome job. I am giving him three stars for Miscommunication, cancelations with no warning of cancelation, No apology for any of it, Inconsiderate of my time. I had to miss Three days of work due to his cancelations, and the nasty attitude that he started off with. luckily I have tamed many of shrew in my day. By using kindness through our whole interaction calmed his mood. The job was done very well. I would have given him five stars is not for prior circumstances.

Garrison did a great job fixing my dryer, but neglected to tell me there was a possibility that I might have needed a plumber. The dryer is a gas dryer & it was a little concerning when Garrison said he could fix it without a plumber, but fix it he did. I just hope that a plumber wasn’t needed. The dryer seems to be working fine.Garrison didn’t tell me he was done (I would have liked to thank him). Also, Garrison left trash & the old part.

Sears failed in keeping me apprised of his arrival, which was close to 2 hours later than anticipated. To be charged $50 for "cleaning" the inside of the dryer also seemed out of line. A bill of nearly $400 for replacing a fuse is quite an exhorbitant fee, in my opinion. The result is a bad experience with Sears, not the technician. Also, I DID NOT SIGN ANY FORMS; THE TECHNICIAN DID. THIS IS NOT A GOOD PRACTICE.

The technician charged for a timer knob on my dryer. This part cost the protection agreement $41.44 but this part wasn't replaced, because this part never came with the new timer. This is so wrong to charge something that wasn't replaced !
