The technician was pleasant, courteous and knowledgeable but the repair was not made because I was informed the protection plan I've had for my appliances for over 40 years did not cover, just this one appliance. When it was renewed last year, the representative gave me a different option that only changed the number of time service could be done in a year but NO CHANGES in the actual servicing of the appliances. I paid the $125.00 service fee and called Sears Home Service and explained that the renewal plan was misrepresented, just to make a sale. I spoke to two people and got no where. I was told that my recorded call would be reviewed and I would get a call back within 48 hours. This is not the old Sears Roebuck! Also, all my appliances were not listed on the contract I had but on another contract the company had, listed several appliances that I do not or have never owned. The cost to repair my freezer is more than a new one. Over the years Sears, if Sears could repair the appliance, that replaced it, no questions asked. I have questions and can't get answers.
