Do not use. Tried to use them to repair my washer. Sears has fully converted to AI and have nobody for customer service. I tried to update details on my appointment but their website was broken so I tried to call but the AI prompts just being me to a dead end. There is no option when calling/chatting online to speak with a representative. In the end they ask you to send an email to resolve the issue after going through a bunch of call prompts or chat prompts. Also, I got charged for an appointment fee, when it was supposed to be waived after accepting the service...which is going to lead to another customer email that is not going to be addressed.

If I could, I would give a -5. The customer service is absolutely horrible. My 3 year old washing machine stopped working. I called Sears to set up an appointment to have it checked. The appointment was for July 5 between 8 am to 5 pm. I canceled all my 4th of July plans to wait for the technician. I kept getting emails reminding me of the appointment. On July 5, I waited and waited and no call. I decided to call around 3 just to make sure that the technician was on his way. The so call " customer service" told me that there were no technicians in my area and I needed to reschedule. No one had the courtesy to call me to let me know that the appointment had been canceled. I was extremely upset and requested to speak with a supervisor. They refused to transferred me t o a higher level to individual. It is so unacceptable the way Sears Co treats its customers. I am paying for the services, I am not asking g for any free services. And by the way, as soon as I placed the first request, my credit card was immediately charged $100 for the deductible and this is not the first time that I have been left waiting for service and no one shows.p with no apologies or communication.

OUTRAGEOUS! What are we paying you for?! Technician did nothing to fix our dryer--said he needed to order some new parts, but was on hold with Sears Home Services for 15 minutes and they never answered, so he could not "get approval" to order the parts. He said, "I guess nobody's working today."(We didn't have a choice for the service appointment; the AI bot just assigned it to us.) St first, the technician suggested that we keep using the dryer until it breaks completely and "stops working, then call back to have it serviced." Umm. I'm sorry...WHAT?! That's what Sears Home Service offers?! When I insisted on ordering the parts and, oh, I don't know, ACTUALLY FIXING the problem, the technician said all he could do was set up another appointment, nine days from now, at which another technician will come just to order the parts. Then presumably a third appointment will need to be made at which a different technician will come to install the parts?! Sears Home "Services" should be ashamed of themselves--this is 100% a money-grab. After this ordeal is sorted out, we will NEVER, EVER do business with them again.

Terrible! He's been out here to fix the same problem twice in 8 months and it's still unresolved. Also just realized when he came at end of September he upsold me to clean the dryer lint hose and then guess who got an error code today that the dryer hose is blocked! He took $400 and did absolutely NOTHING and then an additional $129 diagnostic fee to say oops. This company is a ripoff. EDIT: Called the number listed in the response and all I got was the automated system to schedule or cancel a repair. There are no humans to speak to. Online there is no way that I saw to resolve it. Again, go anywhere else... at least to fix your washer and dryer

Technician arrived 4 hours late, only to tell us that there is no point in fixing the machine since a repair would be as much as a new one. $130 evaluation fee and a day of work spent waiting.
