10 stars for Steve but what a Horrible experience, Sears home warranty service has a major flaw with communication and ability. 3 scheduled days they didn't show up or call with an explanation but wanted someone present between 8am to 5pm. Think about it 4 days of lost wages waiting for some one. The 4th day is when Steve came and rescued the situation. It took a month plus to make a repair that actually took less than an hour by Steve. Talking to a human was next to impossible. I felt l was lied to several times about appointments when I did actually talk to a human. It was ridiculous and very frustrating to say the least. The experience of their initial tech was lacking as well. I know they learn by experience but better training should definitely come first. If it weren't for Steve who is a professional (you can tell by watching him), Sears home warranty service would be in trouble. I'm debating whether to end their service or not. If I could expect Steve type service and better human communication I'd stay, but I have doubts they're capable of providing that. I believe in 3 strikes before I make up my mind.
