Power surge/ fridge issues.
Very professional technician. Gave good advice on whether to fix the fridge or just get another one.

Sears doesn't cover fixing Menard appliances. So he had to call another company to fix my appliance. Appointment was set up by me. It would be nice to know when we sign up ahead of time what brands are not covered and how it's addressed.

Knowledgeable, businesslike, courteous, friendly. Arrived timely. I explained my issues with each machine. He was able to address them. The best thing was that he was able to fix my issues in this one visit .

He seem to know what he was doing, but when done there was a burning smell & didn't seem to know why or really care! He at least showed up to fix it, not like the guy that was supposed to do the job & totally never showed twice without reason or contacting us !

Larry arrived on time, but almost the first thing he said was "I can't service your dishwasher as the model number and serial number are too faded to read." He then noted that there was already damage on my kitchen floor, which I acknowledged. His response was he hoped there was no asbestos, which I assured him there was not. I had send photos of the plate inside the dishwasher that showed the serial number and mode number were faded when I scheduled the service call, which I stated to Larry. If that was going to preclude service, I should have been told and they never should have sent someone who was not going to be able to order parts. Larry begrudgingly took off the cover on the filter, and informed me it was too deteriorated, which could be replaced but not without a serial or model number. I asked him if there was anything else wrong with the unit, but he did not bother to check, since the previously mentioned part was too worn. I thanked him for his time, and explained that my disappointment was not with him (despite his rather abrupt attitude), but with Sears for sending out a repairman who could not do anything to repair the unit if parts were needed. Interestingly, my son subsequently did a little internet research and found the model of the dishwasher - I would have thought Sears might have bothered to do the same when they knew IN ADVANCE that the serial and model numbers were partially illegible. Sears has been our go-to for appliance repair for decades, but this experience changes who I will call next time.

Fixed issue but was not kind. Very rude upon entering. Banged hard on my open door. Was not polite at all when giving estimate. Was very short with me.

First of all, Saul was fine. However, Saul told us that we needed to contact and arrange for getting a replacement part directly from LG, since this part was under warranty. LG informed us that they need specific information about Sears Home Services to move forward, of which an email address was needed. That started all the problems. Sears does not have an email address listed anywhere on their website, nor on any paperwork that was given to us. Long story short… Sears Home Services has horrible customer service. Their virtual representatives leave no room for questions that are outside of their scripts. There is no access to live agents with the exception web chats, but even that is suspect and not helpful at all. We will NEVER use Sears Home Services in the future.

He did what he was supposed to do, but...
He did what he was supposed to do, but it didn't fix the problem. Our washer is still leaking when it runs. I suspect the original technician sent on 9/8/2023 did not do his due diligence on diagnosing the problem correctly.
