Strongly recommend not to use Sears Appliance Repair. Technician was not sure how to debug the problem and looked puzzled from moment he started inspecting the problem. In the end, he just mentioned the board is having the problem and quoted $850 for repair to ensure diagnostic is done and I am liable to pay 129.00. I called another technician who was able to repair it in less than 1/3 of the price they quoted. I wasted 129.00 dollars on them, highly recommend not to call them.

The work got done, but we were without a functional refrigerator for 2 weeks. For a working family with kids, that's a lot of hardship, inability to store food, etc. There was no good way to know when parts would arrive, there is no phone number you can call and get a decent update on the plan to resolve. On one of the days the technician decided to not show up even though the website showed he would, just poor management, lack of expectation management, lack of accountability.

They cancelled on me 3 days in a row. My fault for rescheduling after the first time they kept pushing back my appointment and eventually cancelled. Impossible to get anyone on the phone. Only AI responses. Would not trust them to call if you had an urgent service need. Unreliable and unprofessional.

The technician Charles was great, but the date of the visit was cancelled and rescheduled by Sears after we sat at home from 1-5, and the information was texted to us. The appointment was automatically made for the next day 8a-12p. The technician came at 2pm. This was not a good experience for us, and I would not use them again

If I could choose zero stars, I would. Sears sent a technician to investigate a squeaking sound during the spin cycle of my washing machine. Service person spent much of the time on the phone and even had me hold the machine up while he inspected it. Finally, he said he thought it might be the motor but wasn't sure. He offered me the opportunity to pay $689. By then, I had a strong feeling Sears was not the company they used to be so I was eager to get him out of my house. Honestly, he made me feel uncomfortable. He reassembled my washing machine, charged me $129 and left. Two days later, I want to use my working (but squeaky) washing machine and the computer isn't working. It won't start and flashes to "Call Technician for Repair". Josh, the Sears, doesn't know how to reassemble a washing machine. I called Sears and they offered to charge me another $129 for a visit to fix what Josh broke. ***Do not work with Sears. They are a floundering organization and demonstrate no interest in customer service. Their service techs are incompetent and the company assumes no responsibility for their work AND damage their techs do.*** ***If you get a bad tech there is literally no recourse. Sears keeps your money and you are worse off than before you called Sears. Think local. There are many reputable appliance repair services that function without a call center and have an investment in the community.

Technician refused to do the job but I was charged anyway. Area simply needed swept (old bird seed and left over from a chipmunk 5 years ago (outside fridge). I had the protection plan so should not have paid more than the $100 deductible. It is a scam. The tech got paid for comimg and doing nothing and my fridge still doesn't work. At least try to repair. If unable then I can file a claim to get a new one (relative value). Now I'm in limbo. Cost me at least $70, fridge still broken, can't file for replacement.

I have never had worse customer service in my life. This man walked into my house angry! He walked up to my refrigerator and speaking very quickly was telling me what I had to sign as he was about to move the refrigerator. I said wait aren’t you going to put something under it so it doesn’t scratch the floor? He says oh I can and went out to his truck to get something to help not ruin my floor. From there it went downhill. He told me I had a leak behind my refrigerator, but he couldn’t do anything about it. I would have to get a plumber to shut the water off or my husband who’s out of town. I asked him to hold on my son was coming. he’s five minutes away. He wasn’t going to wait. Then he called somebody that said yes he can shut the water off. He pushed the refrigerator back in and was getting ready to leave. I asked him if he was having a bad day, I told him he had a major attitude. Told me he didn’t have a bad attitude, and I said yes he did. He called somebody looking for replacement parts and was speaking in another language. I had my husband on the phone, my son who was here and myself. None of us could believe how rude he was. There is so much more to the story. I came home from work Friday and my refrigerator was dead. My first available appointment was today, Monday. Maybe if I would’ve been able to talk to a live representative I could’ve shut the water off and not have my floor ruined. I still haven’t talked to live representative. This is the worst service I’ve ever had
