Technician showed up to my home to fix my microwave, but didn’t have the basic stand he needed to be able to work on my microwave. Would not recommend Sears home services to anyone. The first appointment went well then they were a no-show for the second one and then the third one is when this technician showed up and didn’t even have the tools to install the part that they had ordered to begin with. Sounds like their customer service is overseas and you can’t get through to anyone to get help and they’re obviously reading off a script just trying to sell you a warranty service. I couldn’t get them to understand what had actually gone on. Such a frustrating experience. Please do not use Sears home services if you want to keep your sanity. Ended up having to call another repair service to start all over again.

Total sham. They start by trying to sell you repair subscription and then quote you $530 on a $130 job. Bought the part myself for $65 plus the $120 service call from these scammers. Don’t waste your time and certainly your money.

Sears Appliance Repair, together with their partner A&E Factory Sevices, has a serious problem with their current ticketing system and training their technicians on how to utilize it. We have been trying to have our washer repaired since late June, during which time Sears has been unable to coordinate with our warranty group because of issues with their automated system, has sent technicians on the wrong day, had technicians enter the wrong code so that an appointment that was meant to be rescheduled was canceled, failed to notify us when parts that were ordered were not available (leading to them to cancel the appointment rather than reschedule) and more. We have had their customer service group outright lie to us when we called to see if a part had been ordered; we were told the technician had it in his possession (he did not.) Technicians who have come to our house have been professional and polite, but that's the best I can say.

Appointment time had a 4-Hour window (8-12). The technician arrival time kept changing, and technician did not contact us to say he was on his way until 12:45, 45 minutes after the window had closed. By that point, we had already left the house.

on 7/5 my appointment was auto cancelled. On 7/6 it was scheduled for 8 am to 12 am and no one showed up .No one even have the courtesy to call that appointment would not ne honoured. Stay away from this company .It is a complete waste. I do agree with all the 1 star thats given to this company. And their call center have no idea whats going on and just give standard answers all the time .Please stay away edit 1: they will give standrad answer .7/8 no one shpwed up today also ..bad bad company .If u have self respect and value your money and time stay away

The Technician Ken, called to tell me he’d be there in 15 minutes and was very nice, polite, and did a great job replacing the roller. However, as for the price for the repair, it was ridiculous! After he installed it, he told me that it is only warrantied for 30 days. I spent $340.00 for 40 minutes. That is $8.50 a minute! The part was $38.50! We never expected the price for labor to be so much! We were not about to pay $119.00 for diagnostic fee, and then pay someone else again to come out. I googled it and knew it was a roller, which he confirmed when he heard the dryer noise. So much for a diagnosis. Sears has got you in a corner. He said he put in the code to get the labor rate for replacing a broken roller and that’s what it came up as. Sorry, but I will be smarter next time when looking for repair service. I will not call Sears again!

Complete waste of time. Run away! After 6 appointments with no shows, going to wrong addresses, abandoning a repair, refusing refunds .. I left to find somebody who actually delivers a service. Only regret that I didn't bail sooner! How do they stay in business?? Oh, My, Goodness -- I was asked to follow-up with Sears on the review above on facebook to "make things right". After this long and painful process of Sears: 1) Failing to show up; 2) Not answering calls; 3) Abandoning a repair; 4) Technicians not completing service orders to call me; 5) Attempts to set up a 2nd diagnostic repair (ANOTHER $139); 6) Showing up at the wrong address; and 7) Later discovering the Sears diagnostic was incorrect by 2 later reputable HVAC companies -- THAT they would not refund my $139 nor the cost of the equipment they purchased on my behalf. UNBELIEVABLE! I've never been so disappointed nor insulted in my life!
