I called them they wanted to charge me for a travel fee, but since I used them before and had gotten great service from them I didn't mind. After the technician looked at my Samsung washer which I paid less then $800 for new, he said the repair was Going to be $1000 to replace the main board which cost less then $200. They went from great service and prices to just ripping customers off, never again will I use them..

The technicians that came from Sears were great. I gave Sears a one star because the phone operator that set up my technician said that I should expect a $200-$275 total bill for the repair. I was quoted $800+. If the operator would have said that he could not give me an estimation I would have just bought a new washer instead of paying Sears the $119 service charge to tell me about an $800 repair.

Problem: Carrier Furnace cuts off after several minutes and displays error code 33. 1st HVAC Technician did not diagnose and fix the problem. Recommended replacing air filter which did not fix the problem. 2nd HVAC Technician did not diagnose and fix the problem. Replaced limit switch and circuit board. That did not fix the problem. 3rd HVAC Technician did not diagnose and fix the problem. Recommended punching a hole in the side of the furnace cabinet. Recommended reinstalling exhaust pipe at 45 degree angle. Requested management escalation multiple times. Manager never called. The said they would send a Senior Technician and scheduled another appointment and sent the same 3rd HVAC Technician. We refused service from him and they rescheduled the appointment. We'll see if the next HVAC Technician can diagnose and fix the problem.
