We contacted Sears for our LG fridge which was having problems. The freezer wasn't freezing anymore, the fridge wasn't cold and the ice maker stopped working. First, we had to wait until Tuesday when we contacted them the Friday before for an appointment. They say "same day" but that wasn't the case in our situation. We scheduled for a Tuesday from 1-5. No call ahead, but at 4:15 approximately on the day they were supposed to come, the repairman called my husband and tried to diagnose over the phone. He told him based on what he heard that it was 99% sure it was the compressor (even though my husband told him the compressor was still working) and that if we replaced it, it would be $1700 to replace the compressor. He told us to call LG and see if we could file a warranty claim. Overall super disappointing. It was obvious the technician didn't want to come out and even look at it, despite what would have been a fee we would have gladly paid to get the problem diagnosed. We will not be using Sears again.

Tried to get 50.00 more dollars to clean machine. This was their 3rd time being at my home in less then a month. They never fixed it
