He would get zero stars if that was an option. Shows up unannounced (there was no appointment confirmed by me so I was surprised). When I told him that, he signed my name on his form and left stating I refused and the service was completed. Also, on 6-16-25 when I had an actual confirmed appointment (sometime between 0800-1700 hours), nobody showed up.

This is bar none, the worst service center. You have been warned. This is is not the company you want to do business with. We called in January and quickly got our washer fixed without a hassle and decided to get the insurance wish is the worst mistake I have made. I called again in April for the same washer and up to now, the problem has not been fixed. Worst yet it was rescheduled 9 time from April to now with the latest appointment on July 29th. They did finally sent someone here in beginning of June but the technician never opened the washer and ordered a bunch of parts for the washer. I have called customer care several time and promised many escalation with the same results. All automated AI responses and no resolution. Please save yourself the hassle and do not get trapped in the worst business I have dealt with in my entire life.

He said that he fixed the problem , but there are more things wrong with the refrigerator. The side tray is still filling up with water. The freezer is difficult to open! The ice dispenser is leaking water! This problem was noted previously!!

This is the biggest SCAM. We've been paying monthly for the appliance warranty. When you actually need help. There is no service at all. You can't speak to a live person. Their AI agent will schedule you an appointment for a technician to come out but on the day of the appt nobody shows up and the AI agent will text you saying we need to reschedule. The options for rescheduling are 3-4 weeks out every time. I took off work 3 times already because the AI agent rescheduled my appts (Its been 3months!!!!)- no technician has ever come. I can't even get a living employee to speak to about what's going on. I guess I'm the sucker- I keep paying the monthly service fee. This is terribly frustrating. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS SERVICE. Save yourself the headache and stress.

The Sears home warranty is a trap. After weeks to get an initial appointment the technician found parts needed to be ordered. They arrived in a week. Second appointment: technician ghosted. Sears rescheduled for 3 weeks later. Third appointment: cancelled day of about 30 min into the window. And rescheduled for FIVE WEEKS later?! Good luck trying to talk to someone, you will be drowned in automated phone menu’s and virtual assistants only to finally get a call center that basically says they’re sorry and cannot provide any help or recourse.

2nd try with 2nd Technician was a 5 star, but the whole experience was not great. 1st technician on first try showed up after 5 pm, but didn't even phone me and indicated I "wasn't home" so he left. NOT TRUE! Then I couldn't get ahold of any real person to talk to to reschedule, except when I got diverted by phone to a medical alert salesperson, I won't be using Sears Home Service again. Very very poor customer service.
