I signed up for Sears Protect last summer. A couple of months later my washer started leaking on the bottom. I called and set up on appointment. A technician came on October 28 to diagnose the problem.On November 21 after parts were delivered, a technician showed up on December 5 to diagnose the problem and ordered more parts. I had an another appointment on January 2 and that was cancelled due to "unforseen circumstances" not by me. Then on January 13 Randall showed up and installed some parts. I have done 2 loads of laundry and it seems to be working fine. No leaks. I have taken days off of work and made countless trips to the the laundrymat and believe that the way you schedule appointments is terrible.8-5? That means your customers have to be available the entire day. Randall was nice and did install the parts and the washer seems to be working but I am tempted to cancel the Protections plan.

Since July 12th, it is now Sept 10, we received $600 for our broken, unrepairable washer. We decided to upgrade washer & buy a new dryer paying an additional $1100 cash. To this date we have had lots of promises, they delivered a washing machine 2 weeks ago that was damaged beyond repair and a dryer. They are sitting in the condo garage with several promised delivery dates but no new washer. I have had a Sears warranty on all my appliances since 1977 with favorable outcomes. Now, you can’t reach a supervisor, you cannot get anyone that knows…or cares. It has been a nightmare. Sears is no longer worth the paper they write the warranty on. I have never been so frustrated.

SAMSUNG FRIG FROM LOWES. Ice bin was totally froze up and took 5 towels to soak up lengthy steam thaw. Unknown if the ice maker would be able to make ice..4 or 5 previous call outs from Daniel (prev.service) ,long wait time to try replacement parts & ice jams/without ice for years!!! Now a different tech from new service agent @ Sears for 2 new parts..but no one at Sears took his call. I was asked to sign off on this "repair or thaw" without it having any frozen cubes yet. Tech didn't schedule to call me back for parts ordering follow-up. When I refused to sign off he then showed me where the parts need to go in. Finally, he said "drain heater, unplugged" . Only because he couldn't order parts and I wouldn't sign off on it. So this issue drags on & on for years, no replacement on my lengthy complaints/ Protection plan..I refused again to sign off. It's a latent factory problem and I need a new frig so I don't lose a future tenant and I'm stressed out again on same issue! I need to be able to order a replacement ASAP. Michelle B.-MAUI

I spent over five hundred dollars and my fridge is still not working. I called to report it the very same day he was out, expecting the technician to come out the next day to finish the job he didn't fix and they told me their next available appointment was 10 days from now! This is extremely poor service. The money wouldn't even matter if the job was done right but I paid over $500 for nothing!

I enrolled into the Sears Home Warranty plan, $49.99 per month. I paid for my $75.00 Co pay on Jan 15th 2022, today is June 21, 2022 and I am currently on hold and transferring of phone calls to schedule another recall appointment. They send different technicians each time who have different diagnostics. I believe this is the 12th time someone is coming out to complete the repair. When someone comes in to repair something else breaks and or it's because they are not fixing the correct problem. One issue is that Samsung part website had the wrong part tied to a part number. I had a service rep tell.me I am not allowed to speak with a Manager or Supervisor. Save your money and just buy another appliance, it'll save time and frustration with Mainland Companies operating on our island. The techs were always kind but were brand new and need more support to learn the trade. Or you should also call a local appliance repair company. I also had an icemaker repair that was also multiple recalls due to the same thing.

Technician not very friendly. He was cocky. He said he never worked on Insignia before. Hé didn’t do the job & said the refrigerator is working. His name is Vincent. I don’t want him at my house anymore, he was not friendly, he was rude. Not happy with the service

My experience was TERRIBLE and I felt I was treated very unfairly, having to pay $ 120 for doing absolutely NOTHING. He came and then said the model number for this stack washer dryer was not in his reference manual and said he cannot touch the machine and I had to pay. I had written down in my request this is a brand new machine and I specifically selected Fridgedaire repairs. I cannot imagine how Sears can operate like this and I would like to be refunded IN FULL. In addition it wasted so much of everybody's time.
