My family has gone without a refrigerator for almost a month because they keep cancelling our repair appointment. Extremely unreliable. So sad how they are doing people. Everything is automated so there's no way to complain either. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Ridiculous!!!! I got jacketed around for 3 months trying to get someone to check our refrigerator, they would always cancel and rebook appointments. Finally told me to get my own repair person and if the job was under $300 to just have it done. Well after the bill came to $ 255 they say I have to submit a list of 15 different things for approval. What a joke they have been ripping me off for $59.00 a month .hope you have better luck with them.

Stay away from “Sears”. Terrible diagnosis (boilerplate replace x, y,z without looking at the root cause) and WAY OVERPRICED due to the fact that they subcontract everything out and take a cut. I called on behalf of a relative in Hilo area and it was literally almost double the price of 2 other repairman quoted me.

11/15/24. Ice dispenser does not dispense cube ice only crush ice. Tech determines the ice bin needs to be replaced. 11/26/24. Ice bin replaced. Problem not resolved. Tech determines dispenser solenoid needs to be replaced. 12/13/24. Tech notices chucks of ice in bin and adjust water flow to ice maker. Solenoid not replaced. 12/14-12/16. Ice maker not making any ice. 12/16/24. Need to put in another service call. Problem got worse. 1/13/25. Tech determines ice maker is not working because he did not plug in the harness properly on his visit on 12/13/24. Ice maker is still not working properly. It is dropping ice cubes into the bin that is not completely frozen which places water into the bin creating sheets of ice in the bin. I have to put in my fifth service call for the ice machine. The tech does not appear to know what to do to fix the problem. He has done 4 service calls to this problem and the problem got worse. A very unsatisfied customer. It's sad because I have always had good service in the past with Sears. 1/17/25 Got my fifth service call for the same problem. It was a simple problem in the beginning but is gets worse with each service call. The ice maker is frozen in a sheet of ice. Tech determines he needs to order a new ice machine. After the last service call I requested a new tech and wanted to talk to a customer service manager. I was told a new tech would be sent and a manager would call me in 48 hours. They sent the same tech and a manager has not called me. Very bad service which reflects negatively on this company. I've been with Sears for years and always got good service. I don't know what happen to their service program. Sad. 2/20/25 7 service call Service order=11708224 Tech here to install new ice machine. They sent me 2 ice machines and they are both the wrong model. Tech reorders the right ice machine and a water valve. I was charged a $100.00 service charge for the last visit. When I called to question the charge they said the tech had to come 6 times so they had to charge me. The tech was not qualified that's why he had to come 6 times. I asked to speak to a manager and was told someone would call me in 48 hours. Nobody called. 3/14/25 Service order= 108224 Tech ID=30296 Tech installs new ice maker and water valve. I received 2 water valves. I returned to the tech today one water valve. 2 ice machines. And 0ne solenoid that was ordered but not installed. Although they charged me for the install. The tech also scratched my vinyl floor and told me I have no recourse for the damage. My first service call was on 11/15/24. My problem was the ice machine would dispense crush ice and not cube ice. 4 months later this is my 8 service call and I'm having the same problem. My biggest disappointment thru this whole ordeal was that twice I called the company and wanted to speak to a manager or customer service agent. The call center assured me someone would call me back in 48 hours. Nobody called.

I can't belive that after waiting around my house all day the 1st appointment kept on getting pushed back then rescheduled for another day. Now on the rescheduled day, I missed the call l, tried to call back (in less than a minute) only to be sent to the automative serive. Then get a text that it is rescheduled for next week??? Can't even get to talk to someone in person or they can't call a 2nd time. SMH. Another update now, the rescheduled date got rescheduled again "no tech was availiable" on a date that was scheduled by them weeks ago!!!!! Today on the reschdeiule, I got a text that it got rescheduled till next week??? No call, no notice just a text that resceduled it again!!!! mean while my refigerator is still not fixed for almost a month!!! The amount of times you have to confirm via text on your appointment and then two more reschedules!!! People work on the weekdays and this is such an incovience and unacceptable that I may soon proceed seek other means of resolution to this problem. You continually pay for a service that is not comming through with no personal customer service of any sort, just automated (unless it is to tell you that a tech is not availiable).

Horrible at keeping their appointments. I’ve experienced 3 no shows on 3 separate scheduled days. Initial technician was rude and very unprofessional. Trying to fix the situation is a nightmare because your call is transferred to multiple departments and you never deal with them locally.

We had service scheduled for our gas range several months ago. The technician evaluated our oven and ordered parts. Two of the ordered parts came in the expected time. The last part did not arrive. Sears canceled the part order with no explanation. We received a text and an email to schedule service. We tried but received an error when we selected the date and time for service. We called the number provided with the error message. It is an AI-assisted call. There is no option to talk to a real person. The AI could not resolve the issue and schedule our appointment. It is time for us to renew our protection plan with Sears, they keep texting and emailing. What a joke! Why would I renew when they haven't provided the service I have paid for over the last 5 years?
