Absolutely garbage customer service. A compete #@$&ing scam. They no call, no show, and then lie and claim we have no appointment and no service contract. Now they want a couple hundred bucks to a fix a dryer that was covered a month ago and LIE that it was never covered. They deserve to go out of business.

Pretty useless now that you can't get most parts there. Sad to see Sears fall but I guess too many people ordered parts online. Haven't used the repair service.

No one came to this house to fix the washer and I have been trying to get someone at SEARS to get something done for 6 mos. I have been having to go to the laundry mat all that time. And now you store in Hilo Hawaii is going out of business. I'M NOT HAPPY

Repair service was satisfactory . . . dryer works. Concern: Sears has charged the credit card $50 (when clicking on the charge it is a marketing company) as well as charge for the repair ($328.72) twice. This is very concerning. Have sent an e-mail to Sears via the website; no response to date. Sent info via the chat box and the response was, sure, we can help you with that. But no further exchange w/ the chat person. The repair was scheduled via telephone. The associate asked if we would be interested in purchasing a service plan for $50/mon which we declined. The service person also offered up this option which we again declined. It appears that regardless of what the customer says, Sears can charge any amount to the credit card. Is this ethical or even legal? This really makes me question the integrity of Sears. Very disappointing.

Do not use Sear’s Repair! After a diagnosis, eight plus visits by techs, and paying for numerous parts to “repair” an intermittent chirp by the door alarm on a freezer over the course of three months, the freezer defrosted and it’s contents had to be disposed of. The next tech came an hour late and diagnosed the issue as bad repair work by the previous tech that caused a short to a recently replaced part and would order replacement and schedule to resolve. After repair, freezer alarm still chirps. Subsequent calls and chats to the service center resulted in them saying I would be refunded and contact would be made by them to retrieve the parts and initiate the refund. It’s been over two months without any contact. I’ve called every week and the answer is still the same, someone will contact you in two to three days. Also, it took over a dozen calls and chats to try and determine who would be responsible for the lost items in the freezer. Damage was from poor workmanship or a defective part. They say they stand by their work and parts so they should be responsible to replace the damaged items but no one knows where to send you. I’ve dealt with websites, phone numbers, and emails that either do not exist or they are choosing to ignore you. I’ve finally managed to track down someone for the claim but that has also been very time consuming and a huge headache with no resolution in site. This company will not take responsibility for anything and have been super difficult to deal with. One issue is that everything comes out of a call center and the only thing they have no idea how to handle any issue that is not a repair appointment. We’ve had at least four different techs come to work on the freezer and they tend to arrive late. One in particular has been rude and condescending but I didn’t catch his name. I’ve had the customer care representatives get confrontational with one even hanging up on me. Would definitely not use again and highly recommend others to seek help elsewhere.

The tech did isolate this issue but was there to also re-check his previous work that was not completed. He did not do this and left without even telling me he was going.

This is no longer a physical store. You have to talk to a guy in India for help with parts. What a disaster.

Sears came to repair my dishwasher 7 times. Just wasted my time. It's still not fixed. I'm really put out. I wasted time and lost money. The saving grace was the technicians were nice. Boss wouldn't let them close out the ticket. They had to keep ordering parts until every part was replaced. Sears spent more money trying not to give me a new dishwasher, in parts, time, gas etc. Poor customer service from the office. I wrote to the CEO. Heard nothing. I can see why they are closing sores. I was told on numerous occasions that my dishwasher couldn't be fixed and that I would get a new. I was even given a case number that wasn't honored. I still don't know what the status is, other than it's still not working. It's been over 3 months. Really!!! Come on. Bad business. I am not a happy customer. What type of compensation will I be given for this blatant disregard for the customer? Dish pan hands
