Friendly & efficient. Also kept the work area clean. Both techs were wonderful. However, Sears needs to notify the customer if the tech can't make it. I had to call the next day to find out what happened. Also the online parts diagram that the tech uses is not of a high enough resolution for them to see & read it clearly. The tech had to come out 3 times before the right part was found & ordered. The tech had to call the mainland & get their help, which took about an hour of his time. And to make it worse, UPS lost one of the packages & I had to make the lost package report. Why can’t Sears track the package instead of the customer??? Sears needs to do a better job of supporting their techs & having the right information available to them. Finally got fixed today.

I was going to give only 4 stars, but even with the miscommunication, I was really satisfied with the technician. He was very pleasant and professional and neat! I instructed to be notified by my cellphone so I could meet him at my home, between 8am to 12 noon. I waited and waited, no call. Finally, I got a call from my daughter, who usually is never at home, says a repair service is calling the home phone and is outside of the gate, this is like almost noon. So, I asked her to open our electric gate and drove to my home. Tech was polite and was already working on my range. And I asked him why didn't he call my cellphone. He said he has been trying for couple of hours. When we checked the dispatch, the cellphone number was wrong and he showed me how many times he tried to call me, but the wrong number. I am so glad everything worked out fine and that my range is up to par. Thank you, Sears, but please double check contact numbers! I would have been upset if I had to re-schedule my repair to another date because of the miscommunication.
