BUYER BEWARE!!! Price was $129 for them to come out and diagnose the problem, with that price waived if repairs are made. I knew that going in. What I didn’t think about was the outrageous prices quoted to fix it. The problem was a bad door latch on my LG dishwasher. I knew what it was before I called but it was worth the $129 for me not having to deal with it. They quoted me $169 for the part and $329 for labor! That’s $500 to replace a door latch! This is a 10 minute job!! I decided I was going to have to end up doing it myself anyway so I ordered the $18 part online and when it comes in a few days, I’ll have to put it on! These people are getting rich just by charging $129 without having to do any work! If someone is either too naive or too stupid to see what’s happening and paying all that money, I feel sorry for them!!!

If I could give a zero star I would, the service technician was not professional and had no tact. He acted like I should know and, said the damages that happened should have been stopped by me ( a lay person who knows nothing of A.C). He mentioned that I should have completely shut off the system but it was upwards of 90° all week long. He explained what was going on but did not attempt to repair or clear any clog.

My unit was not repaired by the HVAC tech. I now have to get an electrician out to check the unit meaning I have to pay another service fee and wait 24 to 48 hours without AC.

They lied about showing up. No one never came or called. My number was correct so there shouldn’t have not been a reason for mis communication or anything. I had to miss school for nothing. I’m pissed!!! Why lie about showing up and you didn’t.

Sears appliance repair has been the worst repair experience I've had in a very long time. My first appt the technician showed up diagnosed the problem with ordering a part to complete the repair which was fine. My second appt no one showed up in my scheduled time forcing me to reschedule. My third appt no one showed up in my scheduled time window with their communication system saying I'm the next stop and someone is on the way for 6 hours. So once again I'm going to have to reschedule my appt not knowing if anyone will actually come wasting PTO hours at work.
