BUYER BEWARE!! Although Amir provided great service (he showed up), I will never use Sears Home Repair again. Since Sears has decided to use a 100% AI model for customer support, you can’t call and reach a live person, although they provide several phone numbers on their site, the support is useless if there are questions/concerns. I scheduled service online for my day off between 8 am and Noon. Everything was confirmed via the AI Chatbot and I received a text at 9:30 am that my technician was on the way. I started texting back at 11:30 am since the technician had not arrived. The Al replied that my technician would be there soon. At 6 pm, and after several attempts to contact Sears and with my off day wasted, with no contact from the technician and no way to reach anyone live, I angrily rescheduled for another day. I used Sears because I didn’t know who would have parts for my 25 year old Kenmore Elite Dryer. When Amir arrived for the rescheduled appointment and told me that he didn’t have parts and the cost to repair would be almost $600, I thanked him and prompted ordered a highly rated GE dryer for $649 on sale that is being delivered faster than Amir said he could have parts. It was a GREAT dryer but based on this experience I will never purchase Kenmore/Whirlpool or any Sears product again. I rated Amir 5 stars because I know he would be directly impacted by a poor score. Sears should savior that $119 diagnostic fee - it is the last penny that they will get from me.
