The technician was great very knowledgeable and explained everything thoroughly. As for as scheduling this needs improvement. I was re-scheduled multiple times and the bot I spoke with made the process very frustrating. Please take in account customers that might take off from work to get service only to be re-scheduled for another day. I would give the technician a 10. The new AI service I would give a -1. If you would like more people to get the home warranty package I suggest that the AI scheduling process is improved.

Technician was pleasant and skilled. Communication with parts ordered and appointments was awful. Took almost 4 months and multiple service visits to get my appliance fixed. Very disappointed, inefficient business model.

The technician who came out today did a great job. Only took him about 5 minutes to complete the repair. My 3 star rating is due to the fact that the repair was supposed to be completed last week and no one showed up for the appointment. No additional accommodations or apologies were offered for this inconvenience. Otherwise, it would've been a 5-Star review.

The FIRST technician was polite and respectful, even though he was not able to fix the problem. However, I am very unhappy with Sears scheduling as the appointment was re scheduled 2 times before he ever came. The SECOND technician, Eli, was able to diagnose and fix the problem! He explained everything. Very happy with him!

Clevens is a very nice young man and did what he could to try to fix my HVAC problem. But he admitted his being limited because the system shuts down intermittently and was running when he arrived today. He recommended having the coils professionally cleaned and i paid Sears for him to do that. It shut down again tonight at bedtime so he accomplished nothing, in terms of progress in fixing my system.

The technician was not knowledgeable and didn't know what he was charging me and when asked his explanation did not make sense. Then when I asked where is the 20% discount that I was due for service after calculation he couldn't explain and advised he was using the system and it does the calculations to call Sears. I don't ever want him to come back to my home. Dissatisfied customer.

The repairman was amazing. It’s the customer service with Sears. They have rescheduled my appointments several times without notification. Therefore I am sitting at home for hours with no call no show. I call only to be disconnected abruptly or sent to an AI bot named Samantha that repeatedly tells me there are no live agents. I have been going through this process for the past three weeks and still don’t have a functioning oven.

I am extremely frustrated with the service I have received through my home warranty company using Sears for a dishwasher repair. I have now had seven appointments scheduled. Out of those, four were rescheduled and three were complete no-shows. I have missed three full days of work waiting for technicians who never arrived. That is unacceptable. To make matters worse, there is no way to reach a real person. The phone system is AI only and does not allow you to speak with anyone. The chat feature will not let me move forward because it claims it does not recognize my phone number, even though it is the number on the claim. So I am left with no working dishwasher and no way to get real help or accountability. This has been an incredibly stressful and time-wasting experience. A company handling home repairs should at the very least show up when scheduled and provide a way for customers to speak to an actual representative when there are problems. I would not recommend this service based on my experience. Editing review a month later. The saga continues. At one appointment, the technician installed parts that had been ordered for my dishwasher, but the dishwasher continued to leak. He then said another part was needed — a wash/clean arm for the bottom of the dishwasher — and ordered the part to be delivered to my house and scheduled another appointment to install it. The part arrived at my house the very next day, but the technician never showed up for the scheduled appointment and never called. This caused yet another missed day of work. Since the part was already delivered, my son ended up installing the wash arm himself, and the dishwasher is still leaking, which means the problem was misdiagnosed twice. When I contacted my home warranty company to find out what was going on, they informed me that Sears now shows “no record found” for my service order, even though this claim has been ongoing for months. The warranty company even admitted they have had ongoing problems with Sears service, and they had no choice but to finally send another company. Between the misdiagnosed repairs, multiple rescheduled appointments, no-shows, lack of communication, and now missing service records, this has been an exhausting and completely unacceptable experience. I have never experienced customer service this poor from a service company.
