He opened up a brand new dryer . And said it was rusted out. . Closed it back up . I never saw inside. Telling me it is not worth fixing???

The tech was scheduled to come to our house anywhere from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM. We did not get a phone call until shortly before 5 and he was still an hour and 20 mins away. While i understand things happen and there are times you will be late or need to reschedule, I would have preferred proactive communication and a more accurate window in which repairs will occur. He did give us accurate and helpful information regarding the state of our washing machine.

The individual that did the service did a wonderful job, but I had to pay full price. Also I wanted all day Saturday 8-5 and no one showed up or called. I only found out that my appointment was changed after 5 pm. Sears is giving me poor customer service. I am no pleased,

After paying Sears $130 for an assessment on my 12 year old washer, I learned that Sears can no longer provide the part or fix my washer. Amazon sells the part I need for $33. Paying Sears $130 for an assessment while they are unable to order the part or fix my washer was a waste of money for me. In the future, I will call an independent appliance repairman who can actually assess, order parts & fix older washers. Calling Sears was a waste of my time and money. Never again!!! Sears should be more ethical by declining service appointments for appliances that they are no longer able to order parts for & suggest the client reach out to an independent appliance repairman instead.

This low star isn’t for the technician, it is for Sears home services in general. The fully AI scheduling and phone number is impossible when you need to talk to an actual person. Our technician did a good job and solved the issue but I will never use Sears home services again. Poor customer service and no ability to talk to an actual person.

You first came out on the 7th ordered a part and were scheduled to come on Friday 9th. Between 8am-3pm. You never showed. Then it took until Monday 19th to come and finish the job. When I asked the service person he said it was not on his schedule to return on the 9th. I don’t doubt him but I do blame Sears.

The guy who came out was very nice. I'm not satisfy with the amount I had to pay. I had to pay $299.00 plus the $119.00 to have a fan tighten. He should have asked me if I wanted him to fix it. I would have said no and paid him the $119.00. But he fixed it without telling me how much it would cost. So I ended up paying over $400.00. Very bad business!!!!!!!
