This service experience was horrible. Not the tech, but company fault. This system of a 9 hour window and no live person able to update is unsatisfactory. My time is valuable and the attempts at updating the service window were futile with AI support. The tech arrived more than 1 hour later than the end of the window..5pm. I was stuck in my home all day, 2 days before Xmas.

Kenneth did the proper diagnosis where the other 2 technicians had $314.56 worth of parts that were totally unnecessary. Would never recommend anyone to use Sears Home Repair

First off the problem was identified, part ordered, delivered and installed. The Tech was great. Good job but other than the tech you talk to nobody. Just an awful experience. They canceled the first repair at 3:30pm the day of 8-5 service. Rescheduled for two days later and they showed up. But 2 people. They should tell you that up front. Tried to sell me a maint contract. I declined. Other than the tech….everything else was one of the worst I have ever experienced.

Window of service between 8 AM and 5 PM is crazy! $ 125 for diagnostics and not problem solving is overpriced as well as an estimate for an exchange of a plastic water supply tube at $ 656.

Unfortunately, our refrigerator still doesn't work. Sears has been trying to repair the appliance for two months, with a total of four service appointments. But we've had enough. Two months without a refrigerator, and in the middle of summer, to boot. Either the appliance will be replaced permanently or we'll be forced to take legal action. We took out insurance for precisely this reason, so that malfunctioning appliances can be replaced. The repair took less than 10 minutes??? No internal temperature measurement, we had to set the refrigerator-freezer combination ourselves to the desired temperatures, no reset, no base temperature. That's not service!

The repairman was new (1st day) and while he was nice enough, he really didn't seem like he knew what he was doing. By the time all was said and done, he wanted to charge me more money for parts and labor then it would cost me to buy a brand new washing machine (652+). That made absolutely no sense. My washer was only a year and a half old as well. I will never use Sears again for anything nor by any of their products. On top of that, he left my washing machine pulled out and askew and debris on my floor where he scrape the ceiling trying to use my louvered doors. I am disabled and therefore cannot push the washing machine back in and I will have to work at cleaning up my floor. Bad experience all the way around.

Waiting all day. Time keeps changing. Finally got email saying the tech arrived. No one shows up. My wife saw a truck in parking lot with home warranty decal on truck. Driver has Sears on his uniform. Claims not to be at the complex for us. Said he was there for Stewart. Next we get a text with the bill. Another text with a Not at home. He was in our lot. Denied he was there for Montgomery and then called it a Not at home. Totally not acceptable. If I could give you no stars it would be too many. Disgusted

Came out to fix fridge charged over $400 supposedly fixed The refrigerator. Refrigerator is still not working for them to come back out for repairs. Scheduled for almost a week later. Then they canceled. They rescheduled going on two weeks now and refrigerator still not repaired. Do not recommend this service very unprofessional!
