We're very disappointed that Sears changed our appointment with no warning or asking if a new date would work. The website is not user friendly. The technician had no idea why our appointment was changed. He was very professional and did a great job though. I do not recommend signing up for Sears Home Warranty Service.

ken was very rude on telling me what the problem was and just walked out of my house after saying a few words on why he couldn't order the part... to me it seemed that ken showed me that it was inconvenient for him to even do the repair

Mechanic was good. There needs to be more workers hired because he has to cover the whole southern part of the state. I think this is why the appointments are too far out You can’t talk with anyone because it’s all automated. They first made me an appointment for a microwave which was wrong. It should have been for my fridge. Then the tech came out and after figuring it was the defrost heater I had to make another appointment once it got here. The fridge’s freezer was not usable till today. It shouldn’t take a fridge to get fixed 12 days.

I have had the opportunity to avail the services of various HVAC service providers for this particular furnace, and they had no qualms about entering the attic to carry out the necessary maintenance. However, my experience with Sears was quite different. When the Sears technician arrived, I was surprised to see that they were not as qualified as the professionals I had dealt with previously. Instead of fully entering the attic, the technician merely stuck their head through the threshold of the access point. They quickly concluded that the attic was unsafe and inaccessible, without properly assessing the situation. Given my previous experiences with other service providers, I am inclined to believe that the Sears technician lacked the necessary experience and expertise to accurately evaluate the condition of my attic. Therefore, I am requesting a second opinion from a more qualified professional to ensure that the assessment made by the Sears technician was indeed accurate.

Ralph unfortunately did not do anything, but take my money. No repairs happened only robbery from Ralph for not doing what he was paid to do.

Ralph was inside my house no more than 15 minutes. He claimed it was a quick fix for my washer and left my washer on its side. I asked if he would fix it he said it would be too much and that he knew I could do it. I said that was quick and didn't seem right, $129 and a total of 15 minutes he was gone. I got the part and it didn't fix the situation. Ralph is a horrible repair person as he creates messes and does not repair anything. He gets paid $129 per 15 minutes to take womens' money I do not recommend unless you are another sexist guy- then he may work for you.

Terrible experience !!! Predatory. Wanted to charge 500$ to install a 70$ lid switch which I could have bought a new machine. The part was extremely easy to replace. I am a senior, disabled and in need for help. Sears is not recommended in my opinion. I will never call them again.
