Repair man, Eric, was good. I was disappointed in.the "new Sears" set up and limited options. After being a Sears customer for at least 50 years, I miss the "Old Sears" !!!

The tech left my appliances pulled away from the wall and I could not open the doors in the laundry room. I am 75 and I had to push them back myself in order to close the door. I don't feel that was acceptable. He also did not put things back the way they were. A little disappointed but he was on time and advised me on what to do about my aging appliances

technician was nice and knowledgeable but did not listen to me the person (female) who uses the washer what type of problems I was having. He only tested the machine when it was empty and I was having all the problems draining clothes when there was a load in the washer.

Technician (Dan) was fantastic. The phone/scheduling system was terrible- I had to reschedule my repair and it was a nightmare. The automated system was awful if you actually needed to talk to a person-it took multiple times before I could get the service I needed. I would never get their extended service because of the phone service. However, Dan was very knowledgeable, friendly and timely and would highly recommend him.

5 out of 5 for my technician Dmetri. He was quick, concise, polite, explained things, gave his professional opinion when asked, and didn't do any hard-sell shenanigans. 2 out of 5 for the experience of interacting with the company's scheduling and communication systems. Trying to make an appointment took over an hour on the phone with call center folks who were constantly needing to put me on hold. To their credit, they said their systems were having issues, which fits with what I experienced. I made it almost all the way through the appointment-making process with one operator, then she said she had to transfer me to a manager. That started the entire process over again with another operator. Frustrating, but understandable considering the situation they were dealing with. The communication issues after making the appointment were more annoying. Both operators updated my email on record (I had used this company years before without remembering), read my new/correct email address back to me upon my request, yet the text confirmation of my appointment I got still listed my old/incorrect email address. I corrected it myself. While I never got my initial email from Sears about my appointment (I assume it went to the old/incorrect email), I certainly got a flood of promotional spam from them; 6 unwanted come-ons I didn't sign up for in 3 days. Unsubscribing doesn't seem to do anything. And finally, on the text message they sent me urging me to leave this review, they spelled my name wrong. In every other instance they have it correct, so no idea how or why they missed it in this one. Still, it was annoyingly ironic given the context.

No showed on appointment date. The tech was great but the company is poor in its communication. You can’t plan anything because they give you a service time of 7am to 6pm. When they no show you and don’t communicate and then say they are coming two days later, you have to rearrange again. The 2 stars are for the technician because he was great. I DO NOT recommend Sears Home and Appliance

Daniel and Tyler did a nice job as technicians however I do NOT recommend using Sears Appliance Repair nor will I be using them again unless I get a significant refund. Committing to an 8am-5pm window was difficult to plan around but we made it work since we did not have a working refrigerator and have to feed a family of 5. The time got narrowed the day of. Daniel determined the issue but had to order a part and rescheduled us for 2 weeks out. He could only order the $75 part after we paid an additional $500!!! for labor as well. He said we could reschedule sooner if we got the part sooner. By 6 days later, we got the part and rescheduled for a Thursday (8-5 again). We never heard about a more narrowed time window and called by mid-afternoon and the system said the part was ordered but not shipped. Nobody came. I tried many ways of updating that we already received the part, but nothing worked and when I finally found a way to reach a human by phone, all they could do was schedule for the next day. Again 8-5, all day Friday. I saw the appointment still looked the same for Friday as it did for Thursday and called back to make sure someone would actually come and that they knew the part was received. I was assured it was fixed and someone would come. They did not. Same issue the next day. Tried again and same fix was made, but for Saturday (8-5 again!) and finally got a phone number for the routing department and we made a separate appointment to make sure someone would actually come. I also spent a ton of time Wednesday night emptying and defrosting the refrigerator to save technician time. Thankfully, Tyler came on Saturday and did the repair (in less than an hour due to the defrosting I did). All in all, I lost 4 days and spent $500 on less than an hour of technician labor. Customer service was/is completely absent. Supposedly there is nothing the people on the phone nor the technician could do to adjust the outrageous fees nor provide compensation for my time or inconveniences. The labor charges upfront were a scam.
